Comfortable stay and relaxing
The hotel has location, location if you are looking for something near the airport. It is within walking distance of restaurants, street vendors, and a nice bakery. The courtyard and chairs overlooking the beach are relaxing. Our room wasn't the best as it had a view of the parking lot. While the room was very clean, it was also very small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle runs to the airport every hour.

Best time ever
It was such an amazing experience for my daughter and I. We’ve never been anywhere like Maui, and feel so blessed to have stay at the Maui Beach Hotel. Definitely Feels like a Ohana❤️. Thank y’all so much for helping us make such amazing memories for my daughter’s birthday trip.

Exceptional service
We had to stay an unexpected extra night in Maui due to an airline issue. The airline booked two rooms for us for one night. The rooms were fine, clean and the beds comfortable. The real reason for my excellent review was the front desk staff. One person in our party is handicapped and needs to rest often. The airline booked one nights stay, but our flight wasn’t going to leave until 10pm. I asked for an additional night and Maria waived the resort fee and gave us a reasonable rate. Beyond that, she presented us with a gift of snacks and fruit punch. She said the whole front office got together to put the gift together because they knew we were having a difficult day. Mahalo Maria and everyone at the front desk! You are an excellent example of exceptional customer service and Obama.

Terrible service at check in.
Arrived around 220p and asked if we could check in early but the room wasn't ready... Totally understandable. The woman working the front desk was not very welcoming. We asked to store our bags and we came back around 530p. Same woman working the front desk was chatty and laughing with the construction workers checking in but no greeting or smile for us. She didn't say anything about the hotel except that we owed a resort fee and parking fee. We waited while they called housekeeping to find a room for us (??) and were given 168. She went to get our bags and brought them just outside the door, not to me, just said "K, here's your bags". We go to the room... The door is open and there's a pile of dirty sheets on the bed. Back to the front desk we go... And she's chatting it up with another construction worker. So we go to the other front desk person who again has to call housekeeping to find another room. At least this woman was somewhat pleasant. The original woman didn't even glance at us, much less give any kind of apology or courtesy. Thankfully we're only here for one night before heading to the airport but I won't return here next time I visit Maui.

Rooms are nice - avoid the restaurant
Tidy, clean and presentable rooms. Staff helpful and very friendly. Grounds are well kept. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant is the greatest let down. Cold food - and poor selection both for dinner and breakfast- no wonder guest go down the the road to Tantes . Avoid eating in, dine out.
