    Worst stay ever

    This place is outdated and needs an upgrade on furniture and shower tile. Bars has bees flying around like they are the guest and attendee just keep making drinks as if nothing. Food is terrible and was never hot, even after waiting 1/2 at restaurants, buffet breakfast was ok, but not must a variety.

    The Price is Right/ Manager is Numero Uno

    I have stayed at Mediterranean Dreams / El Dorado about four times now. What keeps me coming back is the special care and attentiveness of Rene, the manager. He helped us order a pizza, even made a hand written drawing of a map to get us to a restaurant in walking distance. Our plane was delayed so he helped us stay comfortable for a few extra hours until it was a more appropriate time to head to the airport. Allbrook airport is close and the Eldorado Mall is within walking distance of this B & B. Immigration office is close too. This place may not be the most modern, but I would choose this hotel because the customer service is number one and the price is absolutely RIGHT!

    What it lacks in style it makes up for in service

    Ok it’s a little dated in places and could do with a lick of paint here and there, but what a fantastic manager Rene was. On arrival we were booked into the Apple room. It turned out to be a bit small for us so we moved to the lime room. Rene and the staff moved all our bags and belongings for us. Rene gave advice on bus stops, destinations, restaurants and the weather daily. He is one of the most polite well mannered and nice people you could wish to meet. The house is positioned in a quiet street and has the most beautiful garden where we regularly saw hummingbirds, parakeets and many other stunning birds. The price allowed us to afford the trip and with breakfast served every day helped the budget. I loved Panama and was glad we booked in Eldorado area as only a 15 minute ride into Panama but nice and relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you Rene for all your help.

    By far our worst accommodation ever!!

    Don't let the pictures on Tripadvisor or Booking.com mislead you!! It seems this accommodation has new owners or something. When we checked online everything looked really good, when we arrived it was awful! The place was overal in really, really bad shape. It was dirty, lots of things where broken (closet, seats, etc). We had the 5 person room and a two person room. The matras was full with bumps and holes. Towels where dirty (yellow spots, black stripes). We even had to catch 4 cockroaches!! We're not people who demand a lot. As long as it's clean and the bed is ok we're totally satisfied. But this accommodation was not even close to ok. Way to overpriced for what you get!! The only positive thing was the staff. They were really helpful with everything. Those guys belong to a better place than Mediterranean Dreams!

    You cannot ask for a better manager. Owner give him a raise! Rene is a Venezuelan immigrant and sending his family money. He was super helpful and humble .. always esteeming us in every area. Serving wonderfully.
