This was our second stay at the Occidental and enjoyed it very much We were there in 2019 as well. The only hassle was trying to get lounge chairs around the pool unless we were up before 7am. Overall very enjoyable and easy to get around.

GREAT RESORT
I have been to the Occidental In Nuevo Vallarta 7 times. Each time it gets better. I have to thank the staff and management for a well run hotel. We stayed in the Royal suites Balcony room which is an excellent room. I want to thank a number of stay for making our 2 week stay even better. David at Breakfast...Daniel in the Mariachi..Rafael in Los Olivos..Manny in Tokyo..Rene and Danna in Bar Olos. Our Chambermaid and Brian the Conierge for the Royal suites who help us numerous times and Felix the Food and Beverage Manager. The beach ..the grounds..everthing was great. SEE YOU NEXT FEBRUARY

Stayed with friends for 7 days, Feb 2025. Food was basic, Royal Level couldn’t get reservations until 9 pm for restaurants. We upgraded to have a balcony @ 150$/night the room we viewed without one looked like a Super 8. We heard many people complain about various issues, they said basically management did not care.. Won’t stay again.

Relax in paradise
Fabulous resort, lovely staff and a great spa! Had a very nice massage which refreshed after traveling! Great restaurants as well as buffet available. And rooms are spacious and have a wonderful view. I really love it! Yep, I’m still here as I type! Whoo hoo!

Beautiful Resort
We love this resort. Great view, great service, excellent food. Very comfortable rooms. We had a balcony room - lovely view. The pool was clean, the beach was right there.. nightly entertainment. A most relaxing week. Will return.
