    Costa Rica

Private. Beach was busy. Views were great. Pools were nice. Service was good. We only had one night and not long enough to enjoy all the festivities of the resort.

    Stay away from this property!

Worst experience at a resort. Food was disgusting, staff & security are awful. Housekeeping never cleaned our rooms. Boring resort, dull, and no life at this place.

Good Value - You get What You Pay For

For the price it was good. There are plenty of organized activities to be active if you want to be. Loved the hilly location because it's a great workout just walking around. The service wasn't good when we requested things. We never got hand towels or face cloths after the first day, even after asking 3 times. We called for a ride because it was raining and was told to stand outside and wait, rather than taking our room number and calling someone. Some of the gym equipment was broken, towels weren't in the gym for a few days. No mats to do stretching or situps. The activity crew was good. The pool was nice. They had water aerobics and water volleyball. A pool and ping pong table. If you have long hair, take your own hair drier as theirs take a long time and arne't very good. Overall, if you get a good price to go there, and aren't accustomed to high luxury, you will enjoy the resort.

Not the place for people who don’t like walking!

Not ADA accessible! Shuttle takes 20-30 minutes sometimes, which forces you to walk up inclines & hills. To get to pool or snack bar from main lobby you have to walk up & down about 70 concrete stairs. (I counted them!) Food is recycled! Beef tenderloin for lunch becomes beef stew for dinner. I had ground floor room which got invaded by miniature crabs & a spider. I discovered the spider at 2 am! Sure it’s nature, but i didn’t pay to have it in my room!
