Not worth it
Expect lineups everywhere. The food is mediocre. The floor of our room is sandy since we arrived. One of the elevators is stuck on the second floor. The decor is old and the windows in the lobby bar are dirty w tape on them. The only saving grace is the white sand beach.

You get what you pay for, food was the most disappointing part. Shows weren’t super entertaining in my opinion but to each their own. Overall we still had fun!

It's nice, but not for people with a heart problem.
It;s a nice place to stay but It's not for the people with a heart problem. it has too many steep steps to get to the pools and the beach. No elevator. Food should have more varieties, more choices, but was acceptable. Although, hard for people with GF diet. Our room was comfortable with a magnificent view. There are a lot of good entertainment, especially at night. On a hotel website they claim that some water sports are included. Not anymore. You have to pay for them. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The staff are excellent especially Nancy and Everly at the breakfast and lunch buffet, and Fernando in the dining buffet. The room that we had could use updating. Bed was comfortable, very clean. Really only reason 3 star is the food is not great.

Occidentally found this gem of a hotel :)
- Room: We stayed at the "older" part of the hotel and the room was very nice and clean but shown some wear and tear (splotches / tiny damage on floor/mirror/curtains, window sealing was worn and the balcony window was bumping loudly when it was windy (corner room had strong winds due to balcony facing east and a small window north allowing the wind to pass by the balcony door/window) That's everything "bad" that i can say about our whole stay there. The room was basically only used for showers, sleep and storing our stuff while we were outside or on trips. But the bed and furniture we're all we'll kept, clean and veeeery comfy! - Staff: Best part about the hotel, everyone is super nice, helpful, attentive and friendly :) You can see them always working hard, everything is clean, prepared, and security is always on alert and helping out with everything. Everyone was an expert in their specific areas! - Transportation: Dear lord book a transport from-and-to a hotel from airport with the hotel. Taxi Gangs are real and if you don't have anything ready you will overpay 20-50-100x (!) times more when pressured / not haggling with the taxis occupying the airport exit. Don't rent a car or you might get pulled over for a nice surprise by the police (from what we've heard) When we talked with the bellboys at the hotel we found out they can order transport for cheap with nicer drivers. - Food and Hotel areas Very tasty and varied food choices - The a la carte restaurants are great and people can start a line for a reservation an hour before it's open :) But don't fret as the buffets available all day are great and that's where we ate 95% of the time. Rotating menus daily but also staples are always there. Hotel areas all clean and nice, smaller shops available to quickly grab any medication, souvenirs, swimming equipment etc. 3 different pools + the great beach literally meters from the outside pools. Big mall literally outside the building for anything else, with a bus stop nearby. Hotel area as a whole is pretty walkable, with sparse pedestrian crossings thrown around. Great value, great people, great vacation. Can't recommend enough.
