    Beautiful beach

    Hotel may not be the best, but staff will go out of their way to try and make it right. If The beach is beautiful, white sand and turquoise water.

    Overall ok experience

    Rooms are good, but the washrooms need improvement. The buffet offers repetitive food daily, which can get annoying. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly resort with reasonable quality.

    Good pools, beaches and cocktails. VERY AVERAGE FOOD!

    You get what you pay for.Tucancun lives up to the reputation of an average priced all inclusive hotel. Rooms are nowhere close to a 4-star. You get 4 pools and the unlimited cocktails, which are good. The beach area is well kept. However, the food at the buffet is very average. They serve the same bland chicken and fish everyday. And there’s barely 2-3 real options in terms of a main course. Their Mexican restaurant doesn’t serve authentic Mexican food by any standards. Also, you have to wake up at 6 am and line up to make reservations for dinner. Overall it’s a good experience if food is not your priority.

    First time here

    My group and friends amd I stayed for a week and for first time in this resort and we were happy with how the staff took care of us , special shootout to the entertainment team with Jair ,Victor,Noel and Felix all leaded by the manager Gio ,they were so happy and made our stay much fun with the activities like Zumba. The amenities were nice the 3 pools for many different vibes ,for activities and music to the chill and relaxation one , but the beach was sooo beautiful,with so amazing colors. The 4 restaurants weren't t bad but at lunch it could improve a bit or more variety . The location is amazing with many places around to walk and very safe . Definitely recommend it

    Great stay!

    We had a wonderful stay at The Occidental Tucancun! The staff, especially Jose Martin and Gonzalo Benitez were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our every need was met. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning view with an amazing balcony. Jose checked on us daily to be sure we had everything we needed! He really made our stay wonderful! The nightly shows were great! We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you for making our stay memorable!
