    Guest Service

The service was exceptional , guest service manager Shanardo was supportive, and made sure that our experience was first class . We had dinner at the Steakhouse and the Hibachi we will definitely return. My son Inlaw said he had the best birthday day ever.

Average experience for us, OK for families

Just returned from this hotel today, having previously written a review during our stay. This hotel has potential but is not operating as a five star and is not providing five star facilities, with the exception of Andre the Guest Services Manager and his colleague Brisand who listened to our complaints and tried their best to resolve the numerous issues we experienced during our stay, particularly relating to the dining experience. We had a good meal in the Japanese restaurant (but a little noisy), To compensate for the issues we were experiencing Andre booked us into the Steak House at the Eden Bay Hotel (adults only hotel next door) which was appreciated, we had a lovely meal here and I would recommend this restaurant but you have to book the adults only hotel for this. Generally: Beach: not good for swimming but OK if you want some wind to cool off - we liked it Room: our room was reasonable, fridge was stocked but not very cold, plenty of towels but annoying that room service knock every morning to see if you want the room cleaned, then come back later to clean it (but sometimes too late in the day) Restaurants: Japanese is good, noisy because of the nature of the experience but food was good. Indian OK but butter chicken is very salty so not to our taste. Italian and Jamaican did not have the selection we liked so can't comment. Route 66 is ok but is typical American diner fast food experience but they do run out of ribs quite frequently. Martha's Market is buffet restaurant, unfortunately we had a very poor experience here (unless you eat very early) - we like to eat around 7.00 pm. Pool area: Generally OK, yes broken tiles but while we were staying there was a lot of maintenance activity going on everywhere ie cleaning and painting public areas, lobbies. Bar service: For us this was poor. We were happy with the selection available but had great difficulty actually getting what we asked for. We tip for good service not to receive a service, in the bars the tips seemed to be expected but the service did not merit this. Entertainment: Generally OK. Live entertainment in the main street but very few areas where you can sit and have a drink whilst listening to live band which is not on throughout the night (2 x 30-40 minutes sessions). Shows in theatre are OK, would recommend the steel band which is very entertaining. Could be much more outside entertainment and would benefit from outside bar, some additional seating with tables and waitress service as there's no outside bar (only lobby and sports bar). Generally: For families with young children this meets the 4-5 stars, the water park is excellent and there's a bowling alley and games room. For adults not so good and for us not five star, I would suggest booking the adults only hotel for a better experience but still would not meet our requirements. We didn't feel the usual Jamaican vibe, which was disappointing given the amount we paid for the holiday. Some staff very helpful and welcoming but others not so much. Thanks go out to Andre and Brisand for listening and attempting to make this a better experience for us.

    Go elsewhere. Negril way nicer.

Start with resort is not a 5 at best 3,checking in horrible and slow, signing waiver after waiver.no welcome drink or anything. Begged for our free wifi.4 hours later after arrival. Proceed to room after 6 mins in room lost all power to room.again another ser back. Room good size and clean. Bwr fridgec 3 waters 2 beers 3 pops. Every Day asking for refill. Cleaning off room.sign out at 9 am calling everyday for cleaning showing up 30 mins before there done for the day, usually when trying 6o take a small nap. Food, seen better for Jamaica, 2 large Carta restaurants I would rate a 1 out of 5. If looking for a beach, rate is a 0.horrible coral everywhere,if beach people pay another 1000 per week go to adult section as family customers cannot use.big joke, Thank God for a swim up room, Staff, friendly service ratra 6 out 10.different tour regular service in Jamaica as a 9. They also beg for u to attend a pyramid vacation package.seminar.beware. Final rate 3 out. of 5 Resort for 6 years old going down hill quickly.

the resort was good clean and restaurants good. entertainment was also good. most employees where friendly and nice.If you want to get out and do stuff where your not just in bus and want a good safe experience you need to reach out to Morlan! he takes you to all the best places and also keeps your safety his upmost important 1876503-6764 morlansmith505@gmail.com (instagram) marlonsunforgettabletours ( tell him mogan sent you) second time I have been to Jamaica only thing missing was nice beaach at resort but pool was great and pool activities were always fun trish and her side kick (sorry forget the young mans name) he was great and funny. Christopher in the prestige Noxyjay in the buffet Christine at swim up bar(who always made me feel welcomed )which was not the case for some of the lady's. sorry forget your names but ALL THE BARTENDERS at the lobby were AMAZING and loved piano singer. The only real negative is the continual pressure to buy into the resort and actually one tall lady even snapped at me which took me off guard( tall blue colored glasses not very nice) I can not forget the life guards they were all amazing and entertaining plus I watched young man jump in grab baby untainted for only a second and fell in. he was so fast baby had no idea what happen and then like nothing sat down like nothing happened. house keeping was great first half (was there two weeks) but then lady's contract over for three weeks. after her the next half didnt get coffee etc. things were not as good lets just say.
