  Relaxing, fun trip

  Great value and a beautiful property. Well-maintained and clean. Attention to experience like a cold lavender washcloth poolside. Beautiful beach and warm water where we sam with 15-20 turtles just a short walk from the resort. Be sure to make reservations for the restaurants at the resort asap and for off-property make before you get there. The spa was worth a visit- a great massage for my husband and I. Be sure to get out around the island for a tour. We saw a distillery (make reservations before visiting), charted a boat for private fishing, swam in the animal flower cave, catamaran cruise for snorkeling!

  Not Great

  This was our first time to Barbados. We booked direct through the hotel website. Pricing seemed to good to be true and I guess it was. The largest let downs: Food choices are terrible. It was never clear that most of the options are buffet style and very few options if you have kids 10 or under. Food was average at best but all in all a huge let down. The only what I would consider real restaurant on the grounds only allows you to book once a week. Again - this was not clear at all on the website and reservations are required for every dinner which is beyond frusterating Beaches are extremely rocky and not suitable for swimming. Some decent surf for those who may want to surf but if you have kids stay away. The pool area has not even close to enough chairs to accommodate guests ad is very cramped. They say you cannot “reserve” chairs yet everyone is down at 6:30 AM claiming them. Finally when we did the same - we came back an hour and a half after breakfast and getting ready and another couple blatantly took our spots and we were left with no place to sit. They should really allow you to reserve these spaces knowing they don't have enough seating for guests Rooms are nice - but honestly in 5 nights we only get housekeeping one time and they did not even vacuum so by the end the room was a sandy mess Was not a great experience. Would not recommend. Staff was friendly and accommodating as they could be - but this resort just does not have the options it suggests to have on the website.

  Best holiday….did not want to leave

  Fantastic hotel with the best staff who worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely with the best view of the beach. The all inclusive was all inclusive!! No hidden extras. All drinks were premium and cocktails were great not the usual you’d expect from all inclusive.

  Beachfront Wonderful Resort With Excellent Service

  From the moment we arrived and were greeted by our O2 ambassador, we felt really important and cared for. Having stayed here before, we passed up the resort tour and were quickly led to our sunny oceanfront king room where welcome treats were waiting. We pre-booked dinner at their gourmet restaurant, Oro, as it was just opening during our last stay and we never had the chance to eat there. Dinner was well worth it. We returned after our cruise and stayed until departure time basking in the sun on the beach. Hoping to stay longer next year as we really loved all our stays here. No idea where some of the poor reviews come from.

  Tropical paradise in the Caribbean

  This was true paradise. The suite with ocean views was breathtaking. The staff took pride in ensuring the guests had an exhilarating experience. Chris, Natalie and their teams couldn’t do enough to make our stay so memorable. We finished our holiday with a relaxing massage administered by professionals which set us up for the journey home.
