    As advertised - recommended

    We only stayed one night as a layover to flying out the next morning. However, we had arrived early and a had a full day to spend on St. Thomas. The manager Eddie was very helpful in taking care of our bags and arranging a taxi to take us to Magen's Bay. Upon return, check in was quick. There are 53 steps (lol) from the parking lot to the room, but there are several landings in between to rest if your bags are heavy. The room is very nice, well lit, good air con, plentiful hot water, comfortable bed, nice view, quiet. Didn't swim in the pool, but felt a little cool. The surrounding area is called Frenchtown and was safe to walk around. The Oceana next door was excellent. Would stay here again.

    SLICE OF HEAVEN

    My wife and I stayed here for 3 days after our St. John excursion and I will probably run out of adjectives to describe how phenomenal this accommodation is. I will begin with the negative aspect of our stay and that is we had to leave ! From the moment we arrived until we departed we were blanketed with the tranquil vibe, peaceful environment and heartfelt kindness of our hosts, Colleen, Shannon and Suzanne. Our room was spacious and spotless, incredible ocean view and our bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The pool and deck area was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon after exploring island and snorkeling all morning and the only sounds were the wind chimes, bird calls and the occasional plane flying over head. Although we had a vehicle, restaurants in Frenchtown and Charlotte Amalie are within walking distance. So happy we discovered this gem which by far exceeded our expectations and needless to say when we return to St. Thomas we will certainly be staying here.

    Fantastic place to stay with wonderful hosts!

    Olga's Fancy was a wonderful experience! We booked 4 rooms for the whole family and we all felt so comfortable there. I loved Candy and Eddie, who were incredible hosts and knew the island so well, especially since Candy grew up there. I also really appreciated the fresh water available throughout the day and the free coffee in the morning - two things I can't go without. It was also walking distance to food, so you can grab a sandwich or get breakfast without getting into a car. There was also a nice restaurant nearby, literally a stones throw away, if you wanted something fancier. Besides being able to walk to food, you could go for a long walk or a run, right along the water. We didn't get the chance to use the salt water pool, but it looked so inviting and a great alternative to the beach for those who just want to relax after a busy day. After visiting a popular resort for a day boat charter, I appreciated the quiet and solitude of Olga's Fancy compared to the tons of people in the pool and on the beach at the resort. In contrast to the resort, being at Olga's Fancy made me feel more like a local than a tourist, which is something I personally prefer when visiting different locations. In other words, Olga's Fancy was a great place to stay and I'd go back in a heartbeat!

    Great stay!

    Great experience! Close to the airport, beautiful views, nice pool. Relaxing and friendly staff! Coffee served every morning. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Easy walk to Frenchtown for breakfast and meals. Driveable to Magen's beach.

    Quiet Island Vibe

    We planned a family trip to the BVI and wanted to do a few days in STT. We found Olga’s Fancy to be the perfect place we were looking for. All the positive reviews are well deserved. Candy and Eddie were the most awesome hosts. Every recommendation they gave us, turned out to be perfect…great people. If you’re looking for the Ritz or all inclusive cruise ship experience, this isn’t for you, keep moving. If you’re looking for a quiet spot with true island feel, look no further! I highly recommend Olga’s Fancy and we have now found our go to spot when we visit STT again. David
