    Back again for more

We came back! Originally was going yo stay at the lagoon tower at Hilton but due to strike we cancelled our trip…then we regretted it and rebooked to Outrigger reef. We loved it so much last year it we felt it was worth the extra cost. We checked in at around 130pm. I was on the lookout for my girl Kanani but she wasn’t in until later in the day. Regine helped us out and was a pleasure to deal with. The room she put us in was 816 which was an oceant front suite. A little different then 1016 we had last year but same great view. The only thing i did want to me tion which wasnt. Big deal was the bathroom floors were a little dirty but maybe that was due to the rush to get us in to the room and settled. Room setup was a little different with a larger 2nd bathroom(a little too big if you ask me). We had voyager 47 access once again which was great as the canadian dollar exchange is horrible. Saw familiar faces in the club. We saw previous guests from last year too which was a crazy coincidence! They too love the reef and come back every year. All in all its the same great hotel. Kanani remembered me and the family and i was so happy to see shes been moved up! Me and my wife were so happy to see her again she always has a huge smile. I just wish the music went on a wee bit longer as it always ended at 9 so i only got to hear about 30 minutes of it on the lanai. Ahuihou outrigger reef we will be back!

Great location - close to beach and restaurants and shopping

We spent 3 nights here at Outrigger Reef Resort with our family of 4. The resort is very nice, very clean and great service. It is very and extremely well located right outside Waikiki beach, so getting to the beach is extremely easy. Also - well located near many restaurants and shopping - so the location is excellent! The room itself is clean, reasonable spacious and well equipped. I would rank this as a 4 star hotel. The outdoor pool can get crowded, we never used the outdoor pool, but the big advantage is that the outdoor pool is quite well shaded by the building, so you are not in direct sunlight. The beach right outside Outrigger Reef was small, but a quick walk north and you will get Waikiki beach very quickly. There are more "luxury hotels" in the area, but Outrigger Reef was reasonably priced (for Hawaii anyways) but the biggest selling point is its great location. We would return to Outrigger Reef in the future.

    Acnes B. is great!

Acnes B. was absolutely phenomenal! She was the sweetest, kindest, and most caring attendant and enjoyed her company during the brief morning cleanings!! She was always super cheerful and very accommodating throughout our entire stay at the Outrigger Reef Resort - Room 407 :)

    Waikiki Outrigger Reef Beach Resort

The overall experience was great! The ocean club rooms are very nice as well as the staff! During breakfast and appetizers at the V/47 club, Teresa was very kind and accommodating when it came to allergies in my family! The ocean is beautiful and fun to go in. I would recommend staying here!

    Will come back next time

Overall is good Pros: the room is quiet and clean. Because it got remodeled so the room is new and layout is good. Special thank to Yining who cleans our room nicely everyday! Food is good as well. We can always get food downstairs when we don’t go outside. Kids loved the pool where they spent most of the time. Cons: hard to get warm water to drink as there’s no microwave in the room. You also need to get water downstairs from the water fountain.
