Great location and apartment, but below average service. Room was never cleaned on 2nd to last day, so no fresh towels. Had to ring to ask for some and it took nearly 3 hours before someone brought them. We asked about late checkout various times, but was told be each person this can only be done on the day. When it came to our departure day, I was then told late checkout for today had been fully booked for a few days now, and it is hotel policy not to tell guests they are fully booked. We would have preferred to have been told so we can make plans instead of being strung along the whole time. All in all, it's a great place to stay, but the service at the end of our trip ruined the experience. Would not recommend.

We were very well looked after at the hotel by the attendant Kimberly, who was super attentive and friendly. Excellent hotel structure, good food, beautiful beaches, comfortable room with easy access, highly recommended. I really like this hotel!

Curacao | Papagayo beach hotel
Wonderful hotel with an unbeatable location! I highly recommend booking an ocean view room for a truly spectacular experience. The staff is incredibly courteous, and having car rentals and a supermarket within walking distance is a huge plus. Special thanks to Eleonora at the reception for making our stay exceptionally easy and enjoyable

Heaven on Earth
We spent 2 weeks at the hotel, as we do every year since 2020. That in itself says enough. Great accommodation, great staff (like Kimberly and many others), except for security: the only minus is the unfortunate fact that the private pool, exclusively for Papagayo hotel guests and guests from Boca Gentile (directly east of the Papagayo resort), is frequently visited by "illegal" guests from the other pool areas directly adjacent at the west side. Consequently, the atmosphere, intended to be calm and private, at times tends to become crowded and noisy with a lot of youngsters that are not supposed to be there. Two reasons: (1) the small sign board telling the pool is private property is missed by most visitors, and (2) the absence of an active security staff. Of the 5 staff members only 1 regularly checked and expelled illegal visitors from the pool area (which turns out to be a day-long job!). Too bad because for the rest this place is absolutely heaven on earth.

Location, breakfast, private beach and overall impression were excellent. Minor point for improvement would be: bathroom maintenance, cleaning of the hallways, personnel could be more dedicated, involved and make you feel more welcome.
