We had great service the entire trip. One highlight was Jose at Cappella. The service was amazing and he was so nice.
We have stayed at this hotel for 4 vacations. Always great service and the staff goes above and beyond to make your experience positive. We love the location and the beach is so beautiful. The adult area is great to catch a lunch and the pool is so calm.

Dinner at Agua Mariena
Tonight we went to Agua Marina restaurant at Paradisus Cancun. Martin on front desk and Marco our waiter were superb… as was the food. We had scallops, shrimp and salmon all beautifully seasoned and presented. It tasted very good indeed whilst the ambience under the thatched roof by the seashore was everything we could hope for. Even more, it was made better by the people working there. Thankyou for a making our night.

Bar and ginger party!🎊
Very beautiful resort!! The lobby view gives me Tulum vibes! 🌴🌴🛖🛖 it was an amazing place, but in special luis from the beach club makes my day better!! His service was personal, also he was nice to me and my couple! The ginger bar party with Daniel from the entertainment team was incredible and the game after the show was so fun hahahaha very good job from those two special workers 🩷✨✨✨

Just go somewhere else.
I was here as part of a wedding venue, but was underwhelmed from the start. No instructions on how to check in for “preferred guests” was available. If you are one of those guests taken to pyramid 5, and your room isn’t ready, you’d have to take your luggage all the way to the main entrance if you want to explore. On top of that, no one explains or offers to make reservations for dinner that day and if they do, not until you get access to your room. For the most part that sums up this place - “left to your own devices”. Pool towels? Get them yourself…. Drinks? You may, MAY, have someone come by, but easier to get them yourself then wait 15 minutes (oh and like the US expect a tip for grabbing a beer). Clear dishes or get another drink? Clear them yourself, or track a server down…. Reservations? Go make them yourself, because even if you have a concierge, they can’t do anything after 1600, and most places are full. While not every experience was like this, the overall customer service is lacking and the hospitality is ZERO. Great example is our wedding party bride books a reservation at one of the restaurants for 12 people the day after their ceremony. Only to be told at check in that they will not only be splitting the group into several tables but absolutely REFUSE to sit them near each other. And this was right when they opened so we were not an inconvenience to a busy restaurant. Let’s talk about the food - average at best. Nothing stood out and everything just tasted grey. In fact the steakhouse for adults only was exactly that - grey steak and not cooked very well. If you’re a bread lover like me, then avoid this place! Breads are dry and stale because they leave them out unprotected but even the croissants taste like packaged bready cardboard and not the wonderful flakey pastry we expect. Liquor seemed very watered down and the included wine was an insult to the pallet. One major exception to my complaining is housekeeping. They stopped by daily to tidy the room, replace towels, and were very kind when called or knocking on the door. Another problem for me was the linens at this hotel; polyester. Which is great if you want to wake in the middle of the in a sweat. Or if you want limp dinner napkins that slide or blow away at the slightest of movement. So when I come to Cancun, I’m avoiding this place. Even with their impending renovation, the lack of class and hospitality is something that a new coat of paint can not fix.

Lifeguards at the Paradisus Cancun saved my life
I cannot thank the lifeguards at the Paradisus Cancun beach enough for their bravery and quick action. Today, while swimming, I got caught in a powerful current that pulled me deeper into the ocean. Although I can swim, the rough waters overwhelmed me, and I started losing control, fearing I wouldn’t make it back to shore. My teenage son saw me struggling and tried to help pull me out of the current, but the force of the waves was too strong. He was doing his best, but I knew he wouldn’t be able to hold on for much longer before exhaustion set in. In that terrifying moment, the lifeguard acted swiftly and professionally, reaching us just in time and bringing both of us safely back. Their vigilance, skill, and dedication truly saved our lives. We will forever be grateful for their efforts and want to highlight their incredible work to all visitors. For anyone visiting, please be extra cautious in the water—the ocean here can be unpredictable. And to the lifeguard team, thank you from the bottom of my heart! Manain Perez Alvarado, Jhonny Tejoda Munoz, Raul Torres Rivera, you are true heroes!!!
