  Paradise - Nice and quiet

  My wife and I enjoyed our trip to Paradisus. The greeting upon arrival was great as we were offered a cold towel and some cocktails. The view from the main lobby was spectacular. This resort has great food choices, an ice cream bar, a coffee bar, and all the amenities one would expect at a luxury all-inclusive. It was nice to hear the music from the pool during the day but at night it was quiet. As a matter of fact, the whole resort is peaceful and quiet. Our concierge Ricardo was great and attentive. We decided to rent a car and go to La Paz and Todos Santos for the day. We took Uber to San Jose and also Los Cabos to do some shopping. We always looked forward to coming home to the resort.

  Great resort that needs to heat their pool

  Beautiful resort, great food, great drinks, great service everywhere, and the views are spectacular! We saw whales right off our balcony every day! But they need to heat their pool. It was freezing! The pool being that cold will keep us from staying here again.

  Relaxing , Great staff and beautiful weather

  Ending first week here First the staff is amazing!! Servando security guard on beach is fantastic! Beach service was excellent with Francisco leading the way! Jesus at breakfast place Nestor at Mexican restaurant both above and beyond service wise Our best meals have been dinner at Mexican restaurant and Sante so far. More lunch options would be nice. Gym is small, very hot but adequate. Grounds are immaculate. Almost every employee greets you with a hand on their heart literally showing their appreciation - that’s a very nice gesture. Beach is nice with beach beds and really no problem getting one. I would head down around 9 to get our preferred beach bed. Pool is crazy so if you like that you’ll love it up there. Sewage smell in the room was easily remedied when I placed a towel over the floor drain under bathroom sink. The resort contacted us to see if we wanted to change rooms as they became aware of the issue in a room next to us. Front desk and guest services always helpful with assisting with any needs. The app was not working properly this first week which made it difficult to see menus etc. Not many gluten free options unfortunately but staff has worked with us to help remedy this. A few days over the weekend seemed like spring break with very loud and drunk groups of 20-30 somethings. Not our thing and we dislike inconsiderate people. Not the resorts fault. It’s very quiet here now.

  January 2025 Cabo

  The GOOD We were welcomed with margaritas and our check in representative Jose was top notch. He acknowledged our special celebration with a surprise in our room during our stay. They brought us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Jose continued his great service with a meaningful goodbye including tequila candies on our way out. Thank you Jose! We are pool loungers and as long as we have a drink in our hand we are happy. Antonio was our server from start to finish. He always made sure we were taken care of. He even joined in on a foosball game with us which I thought was awesome. He ended up letting the ball go right by him for a score against me but I won’t hold that against him. Thank you for the great service Antonio! Servando the security guard was great down at the beach bar. He always welcomed us as we came down the stairs. He recommended options for transit, he offered us towels and would just chat with us each day went down there. Such a nice guy. Thank you Servando! The BAD We stayed at this same spot a few years ago. We loved it because the entertainment was nonstop. Trivia, good music, pool games, you name it. Back then, it was a family resort. Now it’s adults only. You would think by switching to adults only the entertainment and music would be better. Unfortunately, this is an area that fell off for us. The music was slow and jazzy, no pool activities at all and no entertainment crew going around to let you know what will be happening each day. We had to ask several staff members to try and change the music. By the third day we were finally successful in getting the music changed to a more upbeat playlist. My notes are BETTER MUSIC and MORE ACTIVITIES. Tokimeku and Sante was really good for dinner, the rest was so-so. We didn’t get to try the steak house because it was not included in our all-inclusive package. We went downtown to The Office instead for our paid dinner. The staff overall was incredible. Always greeted you everywhere you go and made sure you were taken care of. Drinks were great too!

  Enjoyed the beach!

  This adults only resort is located in a great area, about halfway between San Jose del cabo and Los Cabos . We chose this resort mainly because we wanted a swimmable beach, and those are very few in Cabo . The good stuff, food is above average, loved the Asian restaurant the most , breakfast buffet is great, no lineups at egg station, great variety. The only sit down is for the Reserve category of rooms. The negative is if you like to eat dinner 7:00-7:30 usually a little wait, they only make reservations for the Reserve group . The waiters also seemed a little run off their feet as most resorts have 2 people waiting on a table , here only 1. The resort was only half capacity, waits would be long if it was full . They also rotate shutting restaurants each night. Pool service was really good , beach service was very hit and miss . Sometimes very quick, other times wouldn’t see anyone . Not many chairs at the beach , only about 10 and 3 were ripped. The rest were beach type of beds for 2 people which I’m not a fan of as they can’t be moved to lay in direct sun. Not much night time entertainment at all. Rooms are a little tired and bathroom quite small. Be careful on booking swimout rooms as the ones on pool side won’t get you hardly any sun in afternoon . The Reserve area is very nice (we didn’t stay there) has there own HEATED pool as the main one is not and own sit down breakfast area . Would I come here again, probably not as Cabo as so many beautiful resorts, the swimmable beach would be the only reasons. Also is you need to go somewhere , use your UBER app as taxis are twice the amount at least . Pickup right in front of resort.
