    Amazing!

    The adult only pool was amazing. Make sure to get drinks from Alberto at 90 degrees! He’s fantastic! Definitely worth a trip. Also the rooms are super spacious! And the food is freaking amazing. This is absolutely the trip of a lifetime!💕👸🏼🌞🌊

    problems with resort

    PROBLEMS. My wife and myself booked our 50-wedding anniversary in November 2024. we booked the ocean front reserve adult room. When we arrived, they said they did not have a room till the next day. UNBELIVEABLE, how can that be. Then they put us in a room looking at a wall. WE TRIED TO STAY POSITIVE. The next day we moved our luggage to the ocean front room we booked and thought everything would be ok. Then we found out the room was not stocked; the room had no hot water and the internet didn't work. We took a cold shower and went to dinner. I spent a substantial amount of time trying to get the issues resolved but the PRIVATE CHECK IN area was useless to fix our issues. Everyone said don't worry we will take care of it. Our concierge tried but it was out of his control. It seemed it was out of everyone's control. My wife was very upset as this was our 50th wedding VACATION. I booked a spa treatment for my wife (paid for by hotel) and when I was back in the private check in to push for our new room number, they told me we did not have a spa booked. They made me go back to the SPA and I verified we had a booked time for 10AM the next day. So, I went back to the PRIVATE CHECK IN AND THEY BASICALLY SAID NOTHING. It appears one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Finally, they fixed the hot water and internet in oceanfront room and now it was the 3rd day since we arrived for our 7-day vacation. In talking to other guests, some of them had similar issues with the room not being available. I attribute all these issues to a MANAGEMENT PROBLEM not the staff. It is incomprehensible to me that your reservation system doesn't know the rooms are booked or the spa has been booked. I would take a hard look at management and the systems. On the positive side THE RESORT was well kept. The staff was friendly, and the beach was beautifully maintained. The staff on the reserve beach was very accommodating especially Martin and the bartenders at both beach bars. The food was plentiful in multiple locations' the Sante and Mexican restaurants were very good, the buffets were clean and good. The Japanese and steak restaurants were very disappointing, but we had other options. All In all, if we didn't have the issues, I think would have rated the resort higher but it was unfortunate we had all those issues.

    The small things weren't done right

    The resort was very nice and well presented. Clean with good food. Buffets had great selection. Miguel and Maria at the rum bar and Ana Michal at Flores were the best staff we encountered. But small things weren't done properly. The adults only section of the beach wasn’t enforced or properly sign posted so as a result families with children disturbing the peace were allowed to remain there and complaints fell on deaf ears. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation do not come here. The restaurant booking process is awful. You stand in a line for 20 mins to book for only up to 3 days in advance which means you have to stand in the line with everyone else multiple times, and then they tell you the restaurants are full or you get crap seating times. One night we didn’t get dinner until after 10pm. It’s a decent resort but it’s not being played on an A game by management. There’s better options for the price.

    Worst customer service in any hotel in the world. Lizandro the assistant manager and Luisa the manager were worthless

    I have traveled all over the world. I am 1.5 million mile flyer on several airlines. I have vacationed all over the world including 15 times in all inclusive hotels in Punta Cana. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in any hotel in the world. We had no air conditioning, no wifi. We were only able to eat in 2 of 8 restaurants. We could never get reservations, even booking several nights in advance. My wife burnt her arm at the buffet and spent 3 days with doctors and had to deal with her arm in NY. I spent literally every day with Lizandro the assistant guest service manager as well as Luisa the guest service manager. Neither person did 1 thing to help us or accommodate us. This is supposed to be a 5 star resort. The customer service was less than a 1 star. Stay away. Best regards Ralph

    Very Clean nice resort

    16 of us went down Jan 13th. This hotel is very clean and the rooms very nice. You want a spot on the beach and someone to look after you, Padreo is the best, such a kind, friendly hard working man. Our Conceirge Basilio was very good at arranging our bookings for dinner and letting us know our activities for the day. Now one thing this resort unfortunately is lacking is a night life. They have music in the courtyard but no real show per say. One night at Gingers there was a girl singer and she was amazing. She had the whole place rocking, unfortunately she did not last long. Then you would hear there was a karaoke party at 11:30 in the sports bar…well that is too late. They should start it at 8 or 9. Buffet lots of variety and good just food does not taste hot unless you go to a cooking station. Buffet near pool much better. Speciality restaurants…Italian, seafood, steak house and sports bar good, others not so good. The one that serves local food…service absolutely awful. Almost 2 hours in there. With some small tweaks…food, service in some specialty restaurants and better nightly entertainment this could be the number 1 spot to go to. I have been to many places in Punta Cana and this does rate up there.
