The service was excellent, Graciela was kind and understanding. Service at Celsius was accommodating for pool side or table. Room are very nice and cleaned daily. My kids enjoyed time at the water park, the pirate ship pool and the beautiful beach.

Perfect family stay
Perfect stay, you are assigned a family concierge , we had Eduardo Gamboa. He was brilliant , took care of anything we needed. The staff at the Lunch box restaurant were very accommodating. We had a wonderful time here. Our room had access to swimming pool which was great .

An Enjoyable Stay at a Family-Friendly Resort
Family Concierge Service We opted for the Family Concierge Service, which offered several useful perks, including a dedicated concierge available via WhatsApp for any requests throughout the week, as well as thoughtful gifts for the kids, adding a personal touch. It also provided access to a private beach area, pool, and lunch spot, and one complimentary dinner at the Sal Steak Cave, which was outstanding. However, while the service is advertised to provide priority access to restaurant reservations, we still had to negotiate for spots, even after emailing the resort prior to our arrival. This process felt less seamless than expected. Dining Options The resort has a mix of good à-la-carte restaurants on both the family side and the adults-only side. The buffet was average, but importantly, the food hygiene was excellent, and no one in our group got sick. A standout experience was the attention given to a child in our group with multiple food allergies. The head chef met with his mother before every meal to confirm which dishes were safe, and we had no allergy incidents all week. The coffee shop was another highlight, offering both regular and lactose-free milk for specialty coffees. The ice cream bar was also a big hit, featuring a variety of flavors, including dairy-free options, which was a thoughtful touch. Pools, Beach, and Activities The pools were heated to a comfortable temperature. There’s a water park with slides, and while it was initially too cold, the water warmed up after a mention to the concierge. I’m not sure if that was a coincidence, but it made the area much more enjoyable. Aside from the large tubs available on room balconies, there are no hot tubs on the resort unless you pay to access the spa. The chairs were uncomfortable mesh loungers, and the usual “chair wars” at the beach and pool were evident, with people reserving chairs all day using just a towel or a shirt. The resort’s practice of renting out Bali beds for $100 USD per day (with added perks) felt counterproductive, as these beds were almost always empty. Opening these spaces to all guests would create a more inclusive and enjoyable experience. The beach features a nice swimming area and fun activities like soccer nets and a volleyball court. However, the inability to use umbrellas on windy days made it difficult to enjoy the beach without shade, increasing demand on the poolside facilities. Many other resorts I’ve visited use wooden thatched umbrellas, which would be a more practical and reliable alternative for this property. While the resort offers various activities, some amenities felt limited. For example, there was only one pool table and one ping-pong table for the entire property, and these were always in high demand. Given the ample space available, adding more games or activities could greatly enhance the guest experience. Rooms Our room was comfortable, with great beds, pillows, air conditioning, hot water, and a minibar. Noise from neighboring rooms (crying babies or slamming doors) could be an issue, but earplugs solved that problem for me. Wildlife The resort is surrounded by a natural mangrove, which adds charm, although it’s home to a large population of coatis. While not aggressive, they were bold, stealing unattended bags and dragging them into the brush. Overall Impression I gave this resort 4 stars because, while it offers excellent food hygiene, a family-friendly environment, and many thoughtful features, there are a few noticeable areas within their control—such as restaurant reservations, poolside seating policies, uncomfortable chairs, and the limited availability of certain amenities—that, if improved, could elevate the experience. Still, it felt safe, clean, and welcoming, and I would recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Great family trip
Traveled from the Dec 11th to the 18th. Airport arrival was terrible (2.5hr luggage wait) but clearly not the resorts fault. (Just a frustrating start) Traveling as a family of four. Wife, myself and 8yo / 6yo. We had family concierge swim out suite (room 2009) great location close to most things. Resort is easy to figure out and we were quickly navigating easily. We very much enjoyed the concierge service, Jessica looked after us very well. She had dinner reservations nightly and kept us up to date daily with the resort activities. All the dinners were great, we only ate at the buffet twice and found it small and not very good so we stuck with the other sit down breakfast/lunch options which were excellent. We never ran out of things to do. Only off site stuff we did was a walk into town for some sunglasses and the “free” trip to the ziplone/cliff jump that was included with the concierge package. Some things I wish I knew before hand. Set up WhatsApp before leaving. I tried to set this up while there on airplane mode but I needed cell service to activate WhatsApp. Without WhatsApp communication with your concierge is tough. We hadn’t gone south in 6 years. We plan to go again next year to likely the same resort and hopefully have Jessica as our concierge again. I spent a lot of time reading resort reviews… trip turned out as good as we were hoping, I would recommend this place to friends and family.
