Fantastic service and food. The resort is on the small side and that’s a good thing. Water park is great for the kids. A lot of coates but not much can be done. The staff do their best. Restaurants are excellent; highly recommend Flora. All day ice cream is awesome

Excellent Fun Filled Family Holiday
My husband, 2.5 year old Son & I stayed at this wonderful resort for two weeks, & enjoyed every moment of our time here. We arrived quite late in the evening following an 11 hour British Airways flight from the UK & around 45 minutes shuttle transfer. Having read previous reviews I was concerned that during checkin we'd be subjected to a long talk regarding upgrading - to my surprise the reception guy asked if we'd like to upgrade & we said no & that was that. We were taken to our room 2190. The room was absolutely massive with a King size bed. Everything in our room was to our satisfaction including the bathroom and surrounding area. As we arrived at night I couldn't quite see what the view was, however when we woke on the morning I was really pleased we'd been provided a room that had great views of the main pool. The pool was excellent with lots of sun beds around including day beds which were our main choice. What really impressed me is you don't need towel cards, you just take what you need (best idea ever), normally resorts give 3 towel cards and that's it, but here you can move over to the water park (which was fantastic & even has a food & bar area) leave your bed for 15 minutes or so & return back to your spot priceless especially with a little person to look after. The beach was brilliant, & we enjoyed many a day on the white sand beach, the water was quite difficult to enter due to the amount of huge stones etc, but with beach shoes on it was absolutely fine. What I really liked about this beach is on a Sunday specifically the local Mexicans use the beach & it's fantastic to see them fishing etc they even invited my son to have a go. When we arrived we were lucky in that every restaurant we wanted to book was available (bookings have to be made in person via guest service) we never had any issues with this service. The food at this resort was really fantastic & to a high standard. The buffet is where we had breakfast & sometimes lunch we really enjoyed our breakfast here so much on offer for us and the little one - service is quick and to a high standard look out for Erika Cardenas the restaurant Captain who comes round during service to check everything was ok and to our liking & Mariel Altuzar who remembered our names & provided excellent service (thank you) we will miss you. Our Favourite was the Bana Teppanyaki 10/10 our little boy absolutely loved the live cooking interactive show & the food is like to really thank Yoss (i think that's how you spell it), she was front of house & an absolute diamond.., thank you for your superb service! We all think you're amazing & a credit to the resort. In addition we also loved the Cappella (Italian restaurant) everything here was also fantastic with a great bar - we also really enjoyed the Flora restaurant with it's fantastic ambiance & healthy delicious food the prawns were a delight! a really fantastic time was had here, thank you Naoj, Viridiana and Leonardo who had our evening extra special! Overall you can't go wrong at this resort food wise you'll definitely find something to your liking! I'd also like to thank all of the staff who served us during lunch at the pool restaurant we loved the burgers and salads here. There were several kids club options on offer here & what's really outstanding is they can keep children up to 23:00 which would allow you to have a meal with your partner. Never been to a resort with this provision before!!! (My little boy stayed in kids club for 6 minutes lol, he isn't ready to be left, but the staff were great) The entertainment was excellent.., we really enjoyed the Michael Jackson night 10/10.. all shows are to a great standard, we enjoyed them. All in all you can't go wrong booking this resort if you have children,, everything here is geared towards the family which we booked for and we're not disappointed at all. If I could criticise one thing it would b queuing to get milk at the coffee bar, for milk for my son, we ordered via room service a few times but generally waited in line,, I think if we were given a carton of milk in our fridge would've been great, to be honest didn't ask, but next time i definitely would it would make morning and night feeds a lot easier. Thanks Paradisus the resort is a Vibe and we'll definitely be back again, thanks Orlando you're a very lovely individual & it was a pleasure talking with you learning about the Mexican culture., your a credit to guest service along with your colleague Hector.

Best family resort experience thus far!!
We had an amazing time at Paradisus Resort! We had a swim up deluxe room which offered beautiful views of the resort and plenty of room for everyone. The resort had a fantastic variety of activities for the kiddos including a waterpark, several swimming pools, and family night shows, ensuring that we were never bored. The best activity was the foam party at the aqua park. The restaurants were excellent, with delicious meals for both kids and adults. We Spa was very relaxing and was worth every penny. GYM was clean and offered yoga any spinning classes early in the AM. They also have a sauna, and jacuzzi. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our family concierge was Tiara Garcia. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. Everyday she left a surprise in the hotel room for the kiddos which they absolutely loved. Paradisus Resort is the perfect spot for families looking to create lasting memories. We can’t wait to return!

If you are looking for a relaxing stay do not choose this hotel! We are a family of four (one child 4yrs, one child 6yrs) who arrived on New Year’s Eve for five nights. We tried to book restaurants before we arrived, we were told this is not possible and we would need to do this upon arrival. When we arrived and tried to make restaurant reservations we were told that nothing was available for multiple nights if we wanted to eat as a family, even if we were flexible about eating at any time. We are all stressed out before the holiday has already started. The hotel as a whole feels very tired.

Fabulous family vacation venue
Beautiful resort, excellent staff, food was mostly great. As you would expect, the Mexican food was wonderful! Great all day buffet! We were limited to some restaurants because our grandchildren ranged from 11-16 and weren't allowed in the Adults Only restaurants. Disappointing. Fabulous time at the pools, more food available than you'll ever eat! Lovely and helpful staff! Great vacation place for large families!
