Great family trip
Traveled from the Dec 11th to the 18th. Airport arrival was terrible (2.5hr luggage wait) but clearly not the resorts fault. (Just a frustrating start) Traveling as a family of four. Wife, myself and 8yo / 6yo. We had family concierge swim out suite (room 2009) great location close to most things. Resort is easy to figure out and we were quickly navigating easily. We very much enjoyed the concierge service, Jessica looked after us very well. She had dinner reservations nightly and kept us up to date daily with the resort activities. All the dinners were great, we only ate at the buffet twice and found it small and not very good so we stuck with the other sit down breakfast/lunch options which were excellent. We never ran out of things to do. Only off site stuff we did was a walk into town for some sunglasses and the “free” trip to the ziplone/cliff jump that was included with the concierge package. Some things I wish I knew before hand. Set up WhatsApp before leaving. I tried to set this up while there on airplane mode but I needed cell service to activate WhatsApp. Without WhatsApp communication with your concierge is tough. We hadn’t gone south in 6 years. We plan to go again next year to likely the same resort and hopefully have Jessica as our concierge again. I spent a lot of time reading resort reviews… trip turned out as good as we were hoping, I would recommend this place to friends and family.

The Celsius pool service.
The service at the Celsius pool is excellent! Augustin the waiter is wonderful, friendly, he suggested the fried fish with salad and grilled vegetables and it was absolutely delicious! Silverio the chef is excellent and so are the head waiters Victor and David. We also had a delicious sparkling wine. I highly recommend their service!

Incredible food
The restaurants here do amazing food, so nice that you can have all inclusive food served fresh to order. The room was beautiful and staff were really attentive and helpful. They made things so nice for my partners birthday. The beach attached to the hotel is beautiful. It can be difficult to get a sun bed around the pool and at the beach, lots of people reserving sun beds in the morning. Some areas need refurbing such as the pool toilets and odd touch ups around the hotel. Tipping is common for bar staff and waiters so I would recommend taking lots of dollar bills. Overall an amazing hotel, would definitely recommend.

Don't spend your money
Worst experience ever. If you have kids, don't come. It is very frustrating. It is nothing compared to the paradisus cancun. The kid's club doesn't work, has only 15 spot. Always is full. So your kids barely enjoy it. If you dont arrive 15 min early the kids can't enjoy the outside activities. The age is u til 10 years old. I never went to a resort that the age is maximum 10 years old. Most are 12 years old. They are very strict however they want to make sure your kid can't enjoy the activities. We went 3 times to paradisus cancun, and we love there, this year we went to paradisus del carmen to make sure if we want to be a circo member. Definitely nope after the worst experience. The service and food are ok. The pool interterimwnt is bad too. Most of the time you stay in the pool but after 5 days has nothing to do...

Great food, amenities, beach, and staff
Had an awesome vacation. Food was very good. If you want an a la carte reso that isn't at 9pm get the Family Concierge service as they book it for you before you get there. We didn't have that and had a hard time getting spots at a normal time. We did also just try showing up though and often they had space. The beach was also very nice, great sand and water temperatures, and no seaweed while we were there. Once of the best features was the Kidsdom aka kid care. We didn't think our son (3.5) would be able to go as most hotels have a minimum age of 4. Paradisus had a 1-4 group and he loved it, always asking when he could go back. Gave us little breaks of actual vacation. Big thanks to Yadira, Yessenia, Leticia, and Carlota for being so great there. All the staff in general were very friendly and nice. They appear to have a very good sale on black friday (and likely other shopping holidays) so try and book then if you are going.
