Jan 12, 2025Floras is the BEST restaurant at Paradisus Cancun!
The hotel is beautiful and we found out that they will be remodeling it. We loved the pools, bars, the ocean, the staff - that was all great! The only restaurant we would give a 5 Star rating to was Flora. The manager, Tere and the hostess Fanny, and also the waitress Cinthia and Chef Jose were the BEST! We were there twice and unfortunately we did not get the name of the other waitress, but she was great as well! The water fountains were lovely to look at and it was so relaxing to listen to. The food was fabulous! Being there two nights we had the following: Flora Salad, Poke Bowl, Roasted Tomato Creamy Soup, Tandoori Chicken, Sudado Salmon, Meatballs in Moroccan Style, Pavlova & Passion Fruit and Brownie Vegano. All the food was 5 Stars! It was easily the best food we had in the entire resort! We had eaten at Sals Steak Cave, Lemon Fish, Cielo for breakfast, the buffet at different times of the day and had the pool lunch menu. The food at Sals was either fatty or dried out. (The waiter there was wonderful.) At Lemon Fish the food lacked flavor. The waiter never smiled once or engaged in anyway - other than to ask what we wanted to order. The service was very, very slow. Cielos had the slowest service and that was just for breakfast and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. Malva had a nice offering of different food for everyones taste. If we ever went to the hotel again, we would only eat at Floras.

It was a family vacation with a party of 11. The concierge service with Adrian Bosquez was fantastic! He took take of the family with daily schedule and all reservations. The most appreciated service was toward the kids, he planned little surprises that made all the kids super happy. The resort is clean and spacious. Alot staff working on the resort with very kind and helpful. The food was above average at some restaurants. The Cappella and Sal were very good. It was disappointing that restaurants reservations available are very limited therefore we could not try all the restaurants during our stay, like Fiora. The aquazone was a pleasant surprise, all the amenities available and very fun for kids and adults. The staff there were very friendly! Also the barman at the Nube are very good, the drinks were very good. We will definitely come back.

Two Couples One Grandfather, One Grandson
A Lovely hotel. All-inclusive excellent meals. There are great kid pools and adult pools, too. Excellent maid service, as well as other types of servers. Wonderful entertainment, e.g., the Michael Jackson Show.

Top Hotel !! Awsome service om each department from the resort. Bar on the pool , restaurants . All top service !! Special metion for René on the pool Bar. And the girls on the front desk ay the buffet. Also note the rooms are very cosy and practicle.

Excellent stay
We went on a family vacation with 2 kids and 2 adults and had a very nice stay at the Paradisus in Playa del Carmen. Highly recommend the Family Concierge service - we were up to date on all activities for the kids, and all our dinner reservations were taken care of. Tiara was great!! We were very happy with variety of activities available for to keep the kids occupied. We follow a vegetarian diet, and feel satisfied with the food options available at the restaurants, even though it was limited. Service was excellent, everyone greeted us with smiles. Beach was clean and beautiful. I would recommend this resort to family and friends looking to vacation in Playa del Carmen.
