  Great location. Older resort. Average service

  Location is great across from La Isla. The resort is a bit older but still nice. The service at the resort left something to be desired and average at best. We had issues with getting the room we requested, room cleanliness, and quality dinning service. It seemed that the resort was understaffed as several nights we were there the rooftop bar was not open.

  Think again before you book!

  I don’t know how this place has 4 stars.We just left and it certainly was not what we expected.1st the beach is absolutely beautiful, but no chairs to use other than cabanas. Very few chairs around the pool areas as well. The buffet food was awful. Thankfully in the am you could have toast and sometimes PB. Seemed like they did not want to replenish it when it was gone. Booking a table at the restaurants started at 4, by 4:01 you couldn’t get a table at any of them. If you like to shower daily good luck! We had to continuously ask for bath towels, face cloths and hand towels. Sometimes it took 24 hours to get a towel to shower, arrive back to our room some days and there weren’t even any hand towels.upon arrival we had to ask to have shower curtain changed as the smell filled the entire room. Staff was mostly friendly, front desk staff was the least friendly and helpful of all.The elevator doors wouldn’t shut on one set, they had to be jammed shut every time or they would continue to open and close and not move. Reps would approach you to tell you’re family they had welcome gifts for staying with them and special deals on excursions only to tell you you had to sit through their seminars to get them when you went to book them way after the fact. You would be badgered by “reps” trying to sell you vacations. There was very little entertainment around the resort.This by far was a very low end place to stay and not worth the price. Highly disappointed with this one!

  Some of the staff could do better especially the omelet guy

  My last day which was actually my first time having breakfast at the hotel because I usually don’t eat in the morning .I went for the omelette station and while he was making mine I asked if I can have salt and pepper as well in the veggies he didn’t answer me but he did it so I thought none of it .But as soon as I took my platter and turned he muttered insults .I turned back and he did not look at me I said to myself I’m leaving in a few mn so just don’t let that ruin your day but it’s just disrespectful and disappointing

  Pleasantly surprised!

  First and foremost I want to say I do not understand the bad reviews and I’m so glad I didn’t listen. We are very easy going people though! The good..resort is clean, the pool was the cleanest pool I have been to the grounds keepers are always working! Snack bar burgers are good, Arturo at the swim up bar is the best! Rooftop bar was beautiful. Only cons were the elevators were slow but I needed to walk anyway and the room air conditioner wasn’t that cold. Beach is beautiful! You do need to get down and reserve a spot at the beach or pool by 7 but if u don’t mind sitting at the pool edge we put our towels along a wall and sat at the swim up bar.

  Great Time!

  The hotel was very nice and clean, but what made our trip memorable was the service received by the bartender, Javier! He was very attentive, polite, and his drinks were the best. Overall we had a very nice stay and would recommend it to others!
