I would recommend this resort. The only issue we had was for some reason the food was always cold and very repetitive. Also seemed to be a lot of locals and the entertainment catered to them all shows were 100%spanish. So not very much fun for vacationers.

Beautiful Property and Stunning Area!
We traveled to Hautulco with two other couples. We had a very relaxing time on the Park Royal Huatulco. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We wish the 7th floor pool bar would have been stocled daily as there were afternoons that they were out of some liquors that were popular. We definitely will travel to this resort again in the future!

Great low key quiet spot with great food— but really hot with minimal cooling options
This was our first time to the Huatulco area and our first stay at a Park Royal Property. We hope this review helps to guide others What we liked Room was bigger than expected and well maintained. The views are nice and They are relatively cool.wifi was pretty good. All the rooms are on a hill that is pretty steep. A shuttle is needed to go up but the walk down is nice of you are able-bodied. This would not be a great resort for a person who is in a wheelchair with considerable assistance Cleanliness was outstanding and meticulous. Cleanest resort I’ve been to Food exceeded expectations in taste and creativity. Limited dining options (2 a la carts and a buffet) with limited times detracted a bit from the experience. This property would really benefit to have a cafe that is open from 8am-10pm with some like pastries and fruit. Staff is superb and help in anyway they can. They are primarily Spanish speaking and as English speakers, it took a while to get things right. That said, the entire staff worked hard to have all the guests be happy Pools are big and there are bars at each one. Pretty warm but that’s due to extreme heat. The ocean was not accessible due to high waves What was a challenge It was hot with temperatures feeling like 43C. Not the resorts fault by any means, but no space is cool or air conditioned other than your bedrooms. The Italian restaurant was especially hot all the time and difficult to enjoy. They are put air conditioning in the buffet space which will help a little This a small low key resort with little evening entertainment and little social engagement. Not a party spot or one for thrills. If a quiet time is what you want, this is your space. Intangibles: There is a local downtown that is nice to visit Cascades Magicale is an amazing place go into waterfalls. Again, more for able bodies. Park Royal Holiday vacation club will give a presentation of you want it honestly, the imagine package is worth it (with some perks thrown in) but otherwise it doesn’t really become a deal unless you consider VIP or PLATINUM, which are pretty expensive. Biggest tip is to look at the actual cost of trip in points to ensure that the points you are purchasing will cover it. This is easily missed. We did the imagine package and liked it for what it was. It’s a scaled down version of the main program but it works Edgar was our rep and he was the best person here. He spoke English and assisted in so many ways. Overall, I would come back but at a time where the evenings cooled down more than they do this time of year, or more cooling options are presented.

The overall experience was great, all the staff in the hotel gave an extraordinary service, most of the food was good and the room was perfectly clean. León the bartender and Romario were super kind and lovely. We would recommend coming here a 100%.

First time in Royal Park resort
During my recent trip to the beautiful seaside resort, I was captivated by the stunning panoramic views of the azure ocean and lush landscapes. The exceptional service provided by the hotel staff added an extra layer of enjoyment to my experience. The meticulously organized excursions met and exceeded my high expectations, offering unforgettable and enriching experiences. The buffet spread was nothing short of impeccable, featuring a wide array of delectable options that catered to every palate. On the other hand, I did encounter some shortcomings at the à la carte restaurant, where the service and menu knowledge were not up to par, which unfortunately had a slight impact on the overall dining experience. Nevertheless, the stellar service provided across the board by the staff truly stood out, as they consistently went above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay.
