Great vacation! We stayed in the adult scene star class. Adult restaurants only were great. Adult pool was cold but great on warm and sunny days. Yomelly and Jerry were our butlers and were amazing. Great service, always available and did a lot for us.

My wife and I had a very good experience at PH and most impressive was our butler service with Angel Gte and Edwar Garita. They done anything and everything we asked for or needed. Made our business worcation enjoyable for our whole group. Definitely going back!

Feb 03, 2025You’ll be disappointed
We experienced significant disappointment during our stay. If you are seeking a fully inclusive experience, we would not recommend this location. There were numerous families present, and the restaurants were often shared with children. Additionally, the bathroom for the adult pool was also shared with families. We noticed mold in the shower on the grout and ceiling, and the overall cleanliness of the shower was not satisfactory. At times, beverages were not served in the restaurants. On one occasion, room service took two hours to arrive. We encountered inconsistencies among staff, with one employee providing approval for an action while another said it was not allowed. Despite assurances from customer service that they would follow up, we have not received any communication from three different employees.

Wonderful place even if the weather wasn't
I went during January and it was during the Polar Vortex which means it was cool and rainy the week I was there. The times I was out at the beach and pool, service was amazing and friendly. I stayed in a swim up room, but learnt after that the Star upgrade gets heated pools and even their outdoor common pool is heated. Access to all the premium drinks at the lounges and bars is also a feature I will upgrade to next time. Rooms were clean. Room service was fabulous. Anything I needed for the room was a phone all or a message on the App. I highly recommend downloading the app and as soon as you check in, all services on the app are available to you. Saving chairs is a thing at this resort so there were some very creative people. Some used the belts from their luggage to tie around chairs, some used XL shirts with their names on them to keep a chair all day. If you want good service - tip. I'm not sure why people were not. But I'm Canadian and it's how we live - show some appreciate for those that serve you. I did the Spa a few times. Highly recommend the Hydrotherapy option which is just a thermal cycle which is amazing for you. But if you don't like extreme heat or extreme cold, don't do it. Massages are amazing - i fell asleep. A La Carte restaurants were all great and not overbooked, so service was fast and restaurants were quiet for those that are looking for romantic quiet time. The Disco and lounges were fun. Great music and never waited long for drinks. The Scene lounge at the adult lobby had a fabulous Brother/Sister duet one night- sooo good! The only disappointing part of the resort was the evening entertainment. They had lots of music and sports playing on the very large screen in the main lobby area, but it wasn't really built for performances. They did have characters walking around during their themed nights, but no real show involving them. Some general points: get a dehumidifier for your room WiFi is the entire resort and beach bathrooms are great and lots of hot water house wine is pretty good no one seems to respect the smoking areas, but they do have them no fun towel animals on beds no bottles of liquor in rooms, just pop, water and a couple of beer Getting home through Cancun airport - watch the boards, they change the gates last minute on flights

Butler experience
Our butlers Edwar and Angel absolutely were the best!!! They were very attentive and helped us with anything we needed. They need to be butlers of the month EVERY month !! If you have a chance to eat at Gusto, highly recommend and sit in Willies’s section. He was the best server all week!
