Food was Awful
Disappointed. Food was awful. Across the board, in every restaurant. Consistently tasteless, undercooked, almost inedible. Even to my 11 year old son… who will eat almost anything. Service was great! Resort amenities were good. But the food situation was like nothing I’ve ever experienced in Cancun. And I’ve been at least a dozen times. Won’t return to this resort.

Unforgettable Family Vacation
I wanted to take my kids and their family on a trip before I get too old. My daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter 7, grandson 10, and my wife. We asked them where they wanted to go and they said Cancun. Our travel agent and a friend both recommended Planet Hollywood and it did not disappoint. Property is immaculate and clean, rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff works hard to keep you happy. Food was same as any other all inclusive resort, no complaints. Beach is beautiful, but water can be a little rough if the wind is up. Highly recommend if you have younger children and teens. Lots to do.

Horrible room and front desk
Horrible hotel. The room was disgusting and the shower had mold. I can't believe Marriott is calling this hotel an autograph collection. Also, if you have Marriott status (regardless which level of status), don't expect it to benefit you in this hotel. Front desk doesn't care about anything, they will say no to any request for upgrade or late check out. Even if you have moldy bathroom they will say no tonan upgrade. Go somewhere else, no worth it! I will never come back to this hotel and probably going to start using Hilton for status.

Week in Cancun
We had a great time at Planet Hollywood. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very attentive. Our Butlers Tona and Trinidad did a great job to make sure we had everything we needed and made our restaurant reservations. The beach area is very as well.

Buyer beware
Let me start off by saying you get what you pay for. The overall resort was OK. In my opinion It could've used a refresh and some cleaning up. The restaurants were below average. The buffet was fine. My biggest complaint was the room extremely damp feeling terrible musky smell, bugs flying around the bathroom. I can't comment on the Pools. I didn't really hang out there, but I did hang out on the beach, no beach, attendant, no towels and all the chairs were stained and kind of gross, glasses and bottles under the sand rarely cleaned up around the seats once again I guess you get what you pay for. I would never suggest Planet Hollywood to anybody I cared about, there must be better options in Mexico.BTW was star class and I got to say what a scam my "Butler" was able to get us one reservation, and after telling us it was going be very very hard to get. He finally did get it told me he was going to meet me downstairs right before, so of course I tipped him and the restaurant ended up being empty inside felt like a scam. Oh, and it was the steakhouse and let me tell you the meat quality at this resort was a 1 out of 10.
