Great hotel, great service!
Went to PH with another couple and we had the best time! We enjoyed everything in the hotel, the service was amazing and all the activities (inside and outside the hotel) planned for us by our butlers - the best of the best - Damian and Miguel, they were the best! We will definitely come back soon.

Excellent service, activities and kids club! Staff always smiling and helpful
Excellent service throughout. Evening activities were great for kids too. Kids club and kids foam party in the Jurassic kids waterpark was excellent. Kids club staff Rose, Fatima, cinthya, wendi, Alis, Itzel and Marey are great with kids and our kids loved the evening kids camp activity from 8-10pm. This allowed us to have a kids free dinner on one night.

Horrible Food
The hotel was beautiful. The concierge was great? Stiba Garcia was wonderful and very helpful. The food deserves 2 F's. The food was horrible. The Mexican restaurant and the Sports bar were the only one's that served hot food. They need to focus on their food. We were there 6 days and 5 nights. We had to continue eating hamburgers from the bar. I have been to many resorts and this was the worse.

Planet Hollywood Cancun
Food is decent. Try out the steakhouse and habachi for dinner. Menu at the buffet rotates during dinner so try that out as well. Coffee place (Fuel) has coffee and ice cream/sorbet that is great but lines can be long so go early. The spa is amazing! Spent 2+ hours there (hydrotherapy and massage). Hydrotherapy worth the trip! Laura gave a great massage - ask for her. Spa is best part of the resort. Check app for promotions. The gym is also great to check out (next to spa). Alejandra from the entertainment was so sweet and spoke to me about their shows as well as Mexico! So lovely! Overall, service is great and staff is so kind/friendly.

Line up all day
you’re planning a trip to Planet Hollywood in Cancun, here are some important points to consider. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with stunning surroundings, but there are some significant drawbacks that could impact your experience. The biggest issue is the dining situation. The resort has only one buffet restaurant for all guests, which makes it extremely crowded. Expect long waits for just about everything. For instance, if you have two kids, you might spend up to 20 minutes waiting for freshly prepared items like pasta, seafood, or steak. The self-serve food stations are also located in crowded areas, and you’ll constantly need to ask people to move or excuse you just to grab ready-to-eat items—this quickly becomes frustrating. The same goes for coffee, hot water, or even ice cream, with lines averaging at least 15 minutes. Pools are freezing cold, during the day. Rooms are not clean, shelves are dusty. We found underwear for previous resident in the room, which is embarrassing. On a positive note, the Indian restaurant was excellent. The food and service were outstanding, making it a much-needed highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the resort appears to be understaffed, and it’s obvious. Every morning, we had to repeatedly ask for basic items like coffee or spoons. While the staff worked hard and did their best, it was clear they were overwhelmed.
