Nov 21, 2024Awesome resort for a family vacation. Recommended.
This is our first visit to Planet Hollywood Cancun and it has been great time so far. I would like to specially thanks to our butler Trinidad and Pedro for their excellent hospitality. Because of them we have been able to enjoy our time and not worry about anything. Everything was simply taken care of in no time. At first I was not so sure about star class upgrade but it was definitely worth it. Go for it and leave the worries behind and just enjoy the time being in the resort. I definitely recommend for family with little kids.

Great resort away from the main strip!
This was such an elevated experience from the previous all-inclusive we stayed at the last time my wife and I were in Cancun. First and foremost the grounds and sheer space was an upgrade. Beaches were clean, grounds were manicured and the overall vibe was nice. There was always something to do. Stayed here for 5 nights and even then, we didn't explore everything this hotel had to offer. Food: All-inclusive aren't known for great food but I'm happy to say this was the opposite experience. For the places we did try (Buffet, Catch & Braza) food was fantastic. Flavorful and a wide variety of options to please everyone. Even though it's further away from the hotel zone, I liked that anyone coming into/out of the complex was checked in/out. It made us feel safe. As far as excursions outside of the resort, I don't think the 30ish min drive to the main areas was bad at all. Just ensure you have a secure ride to and from and you'll be golden. Service: The staff really went all out in making us feel welcomed. Always a friendly hello anytime you pass by. We were attended to our every need. Overall rating: 9/10. Not the most luxurious place but still very nice and would come again in a heartbeat. Will probably do a swim-out starclass room should we come again.

Ben from Pumped
Ben from Pumped did an aqua exercise class that was top tier! Class was group oriented, user friendly and super fun! The weather was amazing and sun was out! Music for the class was great and energy was very motivating! At the end we went around the circle and introduced ourselves and what we were celebrating!

Salvador is the best bartender
Great service all around the resort. The blue lagoon bar has a bartender named Salvador and he is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever seen. Perfect drinks and attentive service. He was also still in training which is surprising because he is so awesome

Excellent Service!
What a pleasant surprise - we had low expectations for this resort and we were blown away by the service. We booked star class and it was worth it! Our private butlers, Enrique and Fanny ensured that we were well taken care of and didn’t want for anything. Franky at the star class pool offered exceptional service as well. Never had to ask for a drink once - he was right there with a new one in hand before we could even think about it. The beach is beautiful and the ocean was nice and warm!
