  Love the Planet Hollywood Cancun

  This was our family's second time in a year going to the Planet Hollywood Cancun and we loved it even more than the first. Check in with Star Class was a breeze - if you're going back and forth between not upgrading to star class, trust me, it's worth it. Butler service alone makes the trip a breeze. Our butlers Oscar and Josiah were simply the best. Anything we needed, they took care of. Reservations, towels, questions about the room, instant messaging made it easy. Kurt at the Star Class pool always made sure we had somewhere to sit and always had fresh dry towels. Eugenia in The Shore restaurant constantly checked up on us, even if she wasn't serving us that day. Victor and Leo at the Star Class lounge had my husband's coffee ready for him every morning. I hit up the Star class gym and it was perfect for a quick elliptical or yoga stretch. Guys burgers was delicious, the restaurants are clean and so was the splash pad and kids area. Fuel up with an ice cream or treat after dinner as well, you won't be disappointed.

  We all had a great time

  14 pf us went for a week, 10 adults 3 teenagers and a child of 4 years old. We had pre booked our rooms and all got the rooms we booked. None of us were star class. Booked the Indian restaurant for 14 people. Absolutely amazing, some of the party had not tried Indian food so they suggested they would bring various dishes for us to share, the food was awesome, everyone enjoyed it, the service was lmpecable, even the chef came out to ask if everything was okay and was there anything else we would like. We did the same in the Italian restaurant, the 10 adults shared a table and the waiter brought various dishes for us to share, the teenagers and the child shared a table next to us and select there meals. Again the service could not be faulted and the food was amazing. If fact the food was so good we ate there for lunch a few times, the steak house was very good we all enjoyed it, Rooms were spacious and clean, it does help to leave a tip for the cleaner and the guy that stocks the fridge. If you want anything at all go on the app and order it, they will bring it to your room free of charge. The drinks service wherever you were was constant and good, a big thank you to Milo who seemed to know when our drinks needed topping up. Only 1 complaint was checkout, all desks were checking people in and had to queue for 40 mins to check out.

  Great time at Planet Hollywood

  Review: Planet Hollywood Cancun (January 25 – February 1, 2025) Our family of four (with kids aged 16 and 12) had an amazing stay at Planet Hollywood Cancun. We booked the Star Class Entourage Suite for $3,900, and it was absolutely worth it. Room & Location We stayed in Building 22, 3rd floor, and loved the location—super close to the Star Class pool and Green Lounge in Building 21, which we used constantly for coffee, snacks, and loading up on water bottles before heading to the pool or beach. The room was okay—nothing fancy, and there were minor maintenance issues (doors were a bit tricky to open and close), but we didn’t mind since we barely spent time in it. Service & Staff The staff was fantastic, and we especially loved our butlers, Roy and Victor, who made everything seamless. Teri at the spa gave my wife the best massage of her life, and we had a blast doing a boxing class with Ben at the gym. Star Class Perks While I don’t remember exactly how much we paid for the Star Class upgrade, it felt like an incredible value. Having a dedicated point of contact for questions, laundry, and other requests made things so much easier. The butlers even delivered a pizza to us one night! The heated Star Class pool was a game-changer—we swam a ton, while the other pools seemed mostly empty. Skipping the buffet lines and having our dinner reservations pre-arranged (and adjusted as needed) was a huge plus. Resort & Amenities The entire resort was beautiful, and the beach was gorgeous and well-maintained. We loved floating in the lazy river and grabbing drinks at the Cave Bar. Food & Dining The food was solid overall—never had a bad meal. Dinner restaurants were about a B—not mind-blowing but still good. The Indian restaurant was a surprise favorite. Fuel was great, but lines for espresso drinks could get long during peak times. Entertainment The night shows were decent—we enjoyed a few and skipped a few. Overall Experience We had an amazing trip and would definitely recommend Planet Hollywood Cancun, especially with Star Class. The perks, service, and overall experience made for a fantastic vacation.

  Amazing vacation!

  We stayed at the resort as a group of 14 during the month of January. All of the party were located in blocks 24/25!which were a perfect location to all of the amenities including the kids fun pool, mini golf, lazy river, restaurants and lobby amenities. Our room was location at the corner of the 5th floor (25416) which had a great corner balcony with a view of the ocean and on the other side the kids pool area. The younger members of the group loved the kids pool and the adults especially loved the service from Milo who ensured everyone was looked after constantly. I can honestly say the staff throughout the resort, especially in the restaurants were so courteous, pleasant and respectful and couldn’t do enough to help! The food at all restaurants (Italian, Indian, Japanese, Mexican and the steak house) was delicious. We made a trip to the Italian most lunch times to enjoy the outside terrace and the tasty food (I’d recommend the lasagne). If you’re travelling as a large group as we were most restaurants offer a “family” option this involves trying a sample of everything in the menu. To be honest it was a great option as it let even the pickiest of eaters try everything! With regard to the buffet, we really only visited it in the morning and it had everything anyone could have wanted! The drink selection even in the non star class option catered for everyone’s tastes, from beer to wine to cocktails etc.. The beach was clean, with the staff removing the seaweed seen most early morning with their tractor! The beach bar was a busy place so be prepared to wait for your drink unless you can find a lounger, then you will receive table service. In summary the resort was fantastic and we would definitely stay again!!

  Great resort for families with kids

  We had a fantastic vacation at PH. We had a group of 19 friends/family ages 4 months to 80 years old. The rooms were large and spacious - we got a crib and dehumidifier without issue and that made our stay comfortable. The swim outs with a backyard are awesome. Food overall was good, staff was very helpful, and the kids really enjoyed the Dino splash park, pools, lazy river, movie cinema, and beach. Shout out to Clarissa at the gym who led boot camp classes in the morning. Loved the gym facilities, pickle ball courts, and hotel activities all day. Really appreciated the attentive staff, from waiters at the buffet to kids club ladies and bar servers. Three areas to improve - (1) food: line ups at breakfast buffet eg crepe station was annoying and disorganization with lunch pizzas at the Italian station; (2) dinner reservations can be hard to get and inflexible if 10 mins late, as they save tables for star class and hotel members; and (3) I heard some staff are paid based on reviews, which I don’t love. Pls treat your staff right and pay them well. Overall a great hotel, clean, well maintained, with lots to do, and we hope to return in the future.
