Staff and Property Extraordinaire
My wife, Mary and I stayed 20 nights this year and absolutely love Presidente Intercontinental. We have stayed several times over the years. The beautifully maintained resort with incredible rooms is amazing, from the oceanfront beach and pools to the restaurants, bars and other amenities. The employees are very well trained, knowledgeable and very hospitable. We love the brunch buffet with Yazmin, Sebastian and their many terrific staff members including Christina, the host with the most, Nichita on the egg station, as well as all the servers, Alejandro and multiple others. At Le Cap, William, Israel and Heiler are fantastic. We will return.

Would rate 5 stars but the accounting is very questionable with no explanation one week after check out.
I would love to give this hotel 5 stars but I have a warning regarding the billing process. They take the room fees upfront in full but still put a room's charge as a hold each day in full! Then they credit you the same day less 20-60$. I have called the hotel front desk who told me that it would go to accounting 2 days ago and still have not heard anything and the charges are still on my card. They did this 3 times. I emailed the resort and then they gave me another website instead of an email to contact. Now I have to go to visa to dispute this. So disappointed as we actually did like the resort but this really took away from the experience.

Can't wait to return!
The service is impeccable. We spent many days poolside enjoying the beautiful scenery and very attentive service from Carlos. The resort staff really set this resort apart from any other. The only thing that stands out as a miss is the bedding. Their beds have heavy down comforters. Too hot to sleep under but too cold to use just a sheet. Next time I will ask for a thin blanket. Oh and a lot more kids this time than previous stays not good or bad just an observation.

Luxury with excellent service
This was our fourth return with good friends to our favorite dive location - Great location on the island and resort is always well-maintained - Best restaurants especially breakfast and poolside service - The staff has become our friends - Dive shop is on premise "Scubadu" so easy to access dives sites with a short walk to the pier - It has become an annual trip t see our Cozumel friends

Nope
This place is not good. The rooms stink like mildew. There was a wedding that we were not told about when we made our reservation. We have had to listen to the music and bass from the music all day and night. The wedding was in a covered yet outdoor area so there is no where to escape and try to sleep. The service people cannot understand how to keep your tab open from one bar to another or to a pool. Which I think is a complete pain. It rained the whole time, which is not my complaint, my complaint is standing water every where. Even trying to walk to our room. The pictures look amazing. They are not what it’s actually like. We had a room that was supposed to have an outdoor porch. But you can’t sit out there because the seat cushions smell SO BAD of mildew, you cant sit out there. Water is leaking everywhere in the bathroom around the shower. They advertise cute cabanas over the water but they are so in disrepair that they aren’t worth renting. I’m so dissatisfied. The outdoor wedding music is what has sent me over the edge. Breakfast is supposed to be free but they give you a bill everyday that looks like you are getting charged. And who knows… we haven’t checked out yet so who knows what the bill will be. It’s a moving target on breakfast. So why give me a while bill? I dont understand and I don’t think they do either. I will never come back. Ever.
