- La CordeliereOffers fine ocean-view dining in its casually elegant interior or al fresco on the shaded terrace – the perfect place for masterfully prepared meals and festive theme night buffets. The naming of La Cordeliere is a tribute to an important time in Mazatlán's history when a small group of valiant local men warded off the invasion of the awesome French warship for which the restaurant is named.

Beautiful Resort!
We enjoyed a wonderful one week stay at this resort the last week of January and would highly recommend it! The grounds were large and beautiful to explore, it was a pleasure to walk around and carts were readily available if needed. There are 3 pools, with one adult area. Due to the cooler temps we stayed at the very large main pool which provided more sunshine as the adult pool was smaller and shaded, it would be lovely in warmer conditions. We never had an issue finding chairs even later in the mornings. There is an abundance of them, although I must say they are showing their age and a little uncomfortable. The service was outstanding, we had the pleasure of meeting many servers during our stay who were extremely kind and welcoming. The food is very good here! We had the all inclusive package which was well worth it. There are options to go to the sister resort as well but we only went for lunch one afternoon at Cilantro’s which was also good and offered a spectacular ocean view. Had we been here longer we would have definitely tried more restaurants at the other resort. There are only two restaurants at this large resort either the Bistro a la carte and the buffet at le cordelaire, we much preferred the a la carte and found the food much better there with many items to choose from. We never had a bad meal. Waiters were also very hospitable and accommodating. The staff in general was wonderful. Our room was also very nice, it was large and cleaned thoroughly every day. We were in the “newer” area in the 2500 block and liked the location at the far end near the Bistro restaurant. It was nice to walk every day through the beautiful pathways to the pool and beach. The beach was rocky as expected but it was also too cold to go in anyway and it was great for walking being so long and virtually empty! You don’t see that very often anymore so that was a privilege. The other resort had a flat rock free beach but not very big, again it was too cold to go in anyway. My only complaint would be the weather, it was much cooler than expected, the nights and mornings especially, so I would likely not return at this time of year again to this area, but I would not hesitate to stay at this resort again, a week was not long enough. We made great memories and I miss it already 🥹

Excellent service
Service was excellent at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. Special shout outs to Heriberto at the spa for his excellent yoga classes and calming voice. Victor, moving us from one room to another. Angelo his accurate pool service and friendly smile. Alejandro at Kelly’s Bar, making our meal top notch. There were many others who made our first stay at Emerald Bay PB outstanding

Appreciate flexibility
We had a wonderful time. The thing that made it the best for us was the flexibility tha the resort was able to provide due to my severe allergy. Moises Velasquez was especially instrumental in making sure I could not only tolerate but enjoy our stay.

Best ever
We are a group of 6 and stayed for 2 weeks. Everything was fantastic. Food awesome, staff were very attentive and entertaining. We have no complaints at all. Special thanks to Julio Vargas as our pool waiter. He is the best of the best. Make sure you find and let him serve you. Buffet staff were fabulous. Go find the young man who says he is “handsome”. So adorable & kind. We love all the people there but these 2 just really touched our hearts. Love them all.

Pueblo bonito emerald bay great resort.Needs a host walking around helping people with information about place.
Just spent 2 weeks at this resort. Highly recommend it for relaxation and peace. One thing to be noted there is nothing to do in evenings. Once supper is done, your evening is over. Yes there is 1 bar (Kelly’s). Great atmosphere but no music. Resort is huge with lots of space for a guitar player or something. Rooms are great, pool awesome, food spectacular too. They do not offer coffee or bottled water in rooms which is a huge downfall for us. Needs to be noted.. Many great waiters here. Towel chair saving is out of control. Would return if price more reasonable.
