Terrible hotel
The hotel is located at the corner of a side road, so you have to walk a bit to get to nearby restaurants and about 15 minutes to the metrocentro mall. The room was spacious, but that’s the only benefit. There were no towels when I arrived, indicating a lack of attention by housekeeping. There is barely any hot water and it gets lukewarm if you press the hose for 10 minutes. The shower is literally a hose that you press to wash. What’s worse is that there are fire ants that crawl around which is dangerous since those ants sting. This hotel is too poor quality for the amount they charge. You’re much better off staying any place else in Managua. I do not recommend at all.

I highly recommend this hotel!
In every category is exceeded my expectations. The staff is incredible - friendly, helpful and eager to be of assistance. The owner was gracious beyond words - without hesitation he upgraded my daughter and I to a big room which was really an apartment with loads of space, a giant living room, balconies with great views of the city and distant volcanoes, a kitchen, a large bedroom and plenty of room to spread out. The a/c was great too! I was astounded by how clean and spacious and I greatly appreciated the upgrade. The owner also was incredibly, let me say that again, incredibly helpful in arranging transport for my daughter and I to Leon and back to Managua and then for me onto San Juan/Playa Maderas. He was generous with his time and made my experience seamless. I am very grateful for all the help. The location is good - in walking distance to loads of restaurants, banks/ATM's and not far from shopping. It was very clean and well maintained. All of our needs were met perfectly! Loved the free coffee and good food for breakfast and lunch too.

Moderate
Modest and simple although the rooms have all necessaries including kitchette. Location is like nowhere, long distance to puerto Salvador Allende. Zona viva galerias is a little closer. Hotel is good for one night accommodation.

Great value stay in Managua
Located in a residential region this hotel is very comfortable with rooms of ample area, really surprisingly big rooms. Well equipped with full sized kitchen as well. The location is not that close to the city center and a car rental is probably the best complement for a stay in this location.

Great hotel all modern conveniences and kind staff
After circulating around Nicaragua and in the final leg of our journey we stayed in RDG. It is an awesome hotel. It has every convenience imaginable, and the staff is kind and helpful. We were warned not to stay in Managua but this hotel changed our minds. It is not on a main drag. It is safe. Rooms are large and comfortable and contain an iron, hairdryer, coffee maker, cups n saucers, plates, comfortable beds, taxi service on premises and even a scale outside to weigh luggage!! Excellent breakfast.
