Great family trip but time for an update

Atlantis is a good family resort. However it is showing its age and rooms are old (ours also smelled). There is also no restaurants in the Reef so the one Starbucks is always packed with a line of people. The water slides are great as is the ocean which is beautiful. The Italian restaurant, Paranza, was very good but pricey. The Silan restaurant was not good and we had frozen pizza it felt like there. All in all we had a lot of fun with our 6 and 10 year old.

    An Amazing visit

An amazing plsce to visit. The suite had a full kitchen and felt more like a condo than a hotel room, which was great for our family. We loved having access to the main Atlantis attractions , the water park, the aquarium, all the restaurants but it was so nice to come back to the quieter vibe at The Reef. The private pool and beach area were never crowded, and the views were incredible. If you're looking for a more laid-back Atlantis experience, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

awful corrupt, scam of a resort

We have been going to Atlantis for the past ten years and have always had a good time, and pleasant exeperiences. I always wonder about the terrible reviews until this year after I got home. We paid our bill in full and 3 weeks after we got home The REEF decided to charge us for having another child even tho wwe booked and paid for 2 and only had two the whole time. Surprise charges and they will not drop it even tho it's an invalid charge. I am ver dissappointed with this corrupt, money hungry resort. I paid 15k for a week at this hotel to have them try and extort more money makes me never want to go here again. Be careful. Ive been fighting them thru amex and now have to take them to court. Its ridiculous. So greedy and gross.

Terrific Experience at Atlantis during Spring Break

We were at Atlantis during one of the busiest weeks of the year. I was very surprised with how well Atlantis handled the crowds throughout the entire week. Overall the staff was very attentive, from check-in, to housekeeping, service issues with the room, pool/beach service, dining staff.... all of them did a terrific job. The high-end dining was outstanding (Fish, Paranza, Seafire). Property grounds, lobbies, beach and pools all kept in great shape. Only issue we had were long lines on some of the slides at the waterpark, but you had options like the lazy river with no lines. I would absolutely return.

Good family vacation, lots to do

We stayed at the Reef at Atlantis. I would highly recommend this. The staff was very friendly the whole week and the hotel property and our room was very clean. Service around the pool and elsewhere was excellent. Highly recommend this place. The Reef was great for us because it was less "busy" and more relaxed than other towers/pools, but it was a long walk to those other pools. There is a shuttle service between hotels if need be, but we did choose to walk. :)
