    Pleasant and pricey

The other reviews about prices are not kidding. We got room service and there was a $22 service charge on top of $15 tax and a $4 delivery fee and a 15% gratuity added! This hotel is very pleasant and seemed clean and well staffed. It’s nice to be away from the more crowded areas with all the kids and activities. I would also agree that there are plenty of other places in the Caribbean to go that are more worth the cost. But after being at the Harborside Atlantis “resort” it was heaven.

    Paradise at The Reef Atlantis

What a wonderful trip and unforgettable experience at the Reef and Atlantis resort. So many things to do and so many amazing restaurants to try. The staff are so helpful and everything was perfect! Highly recommend to come with your family or even on a solo trip. I also felt extremely safe on this property. Loved the shuttles that took you around the property! Will definitely be back. Paradise!

    Loud Construction Noise

Very loud construction/engine noise starting at 8:00 pm - I alerted the front desk that loud noise such as this was unacceptable at this time of night, especially for those that have an early tour planned the next morning and my complaint fell on deaf ears. Do not stay here!

Atlantis: Where Dreams Go to Die

What once was a bucket-list destination is now nothing more than a mirage of its former self. Atlantis promises paradise but delivers overpriced disappointment at every turn. If you’re considering a trip, let me save you the regret—don’t bother. First, prepare to empty your wallet. Drinks are $20 a pop, and a basic meal for two at Shake Shack will run you $100. Yes, Shake Shack. The prices are outrageous, but the value? Nonexistent. The customer service is laughable—calls to the spa go unanswered, the bellhop won’t lift a finger, and food options are dismal. Staying at The Reef? You’ve got one breakfast restaurant that shuts down at 11 AM. After that, your only option is Starbucks. That’s right—Starbucks. At a luxury resort. And don’t think you’re just paying for the room—Atlantis gets you everywhere. They even charge a fee to cross the bridge to “Paradise” Island. That’s right, you’re paying just to arrive. Once you’re there, expect long waits, broken promises, and nothing but regret. If that’s not enough, consider the logistics. Atlantis is 40 minutes from the airport, and with Nassau’s traffic and winding roads, the trip feels like an eternity. Compare that to Baha Mar, just 15 minutes away. Trust me, the extra time and frustration make a difference, especially when you realize Baha Mar offers a far better experience. It’s closer to downtown, the Fish Fry, and boasts a wide range of food options and impeccable service—everything Atlantis used to stand for but no longer delivers. Atlantis is a shell of what it once was, riding on its name while robbing guests blind. Save yourself the disappointment and choose Baha Mar instead. You’ll thank me later.

Glad we came but you'll spend double what you planned

Everything was really great. We were worried that it would be cold in January, and it was chilly the first two days. Then the same came out and we had a wonderful time snorkeling, riding the lazy river and swimming with dolphins the rest of the week. Everything was perfect, but everything is double or triple than what you would expect to pay. We went out for a fish fry and it was even more expensive than the meals in the resort because you have to pay taxi there and back. I would be tempted to come again, but I'll first see if I can find a place where the prices are not so high.
