This was our second time staying at the Krystal Grand in Nuevo, and I can honestly say they must be listening to the reviews, cause they have improved on a lot of the things we felt could use it from our stay 2 years ago! Daily beach volleyball was a must have... Improved nightlife and evening games were fun... Unlimited chicken at the pool snack bar was a great add... Plenty of extra chairs around the pool... The food was delicious as always, and there's plenty of variety. Could use more guacamole in the buffet, not just the Mexican a la carte. Shout out to HILDA making fresh tortillas and quesadillas at breakfast! ENRIQUE was our poolside server and one of the best we've ever had! He was friendly and fast, and super helpful going above and beyond on multiple occasions. Thank you ENRIQUE!! EDGAR, what does this man not do?! We had the best times playing volleyball when you were around, and he always made time to joke around with the kids. Our trip was made better because of your presence. DAMIEN was also a treat to be around! Thank you EDGAR!! Thanks DAMIEN! JOAQUIN you are a beauty. Make sure to seek him out when going for evening buffet. This man is a natural and another who made our experience better going above and beyond for us. Thank you JOAQUIN!! Finally special thanks to all the wonderful ladies at Kamp Krystal. You made our kids trip special (and allowed mom & dad to play beach volleyball) Thank you KAMP KRYSTAL STAFF!! It's not easy to please a group of 44, but for the most part our family left happy and spent :) Jay & Daniella

This hotel has so much potential, beautiful beach and pools and the rooms were very nice, yet it would appear that a management change is needed in order to move it up to it's potential.. After staying at multiple all inclusive resorts in PV, and especially Nuevo, over the past 30+ years, we easily see areas where it could be so much better. Housekeeping was non-existent until we spoke up and Edgar assisted in getting us towels and coffee cups; no hot water in our room the entire 12 nights of our stay; nightly entertainment (if you care about that) is nearly non-existent; and the specialty restaurants are mediocre at best. Buffet is OK and the food was good, but it never changes. Know a few of these issues going in and it's a nice resort, but for the money, there are better resorts available. Edgar (activity director) was great and the best part of this experience.

Great vacation- with some pros/cons and thank yous
We had a great vacation! Comments on Altitude VIP …. Other than access to a-la-Carte reservations, the upgrade to Altitude swim up room was not worth it. None of the perks for Altitude were explained to us at check in other than reservations, and the sky bar access, we only found out on last day from other guests. As a guest in the Altitude swim up room we found the noise from speakers was too much. There is constant noise as the speakers all day and night are right outside the Altitude area and volume turned up so loud the walls in our room on main floor vibrate and you can’t think. On a positive note it does end at 10pm. Maybe not so loud on higher rooms. The Altitude rooms are the same other rooms. You get access to check in and out at vip reception although we had to wait in checkin line for 20mins before getting escorted down to vip. With Altitude, you are just paying more for restaurant reservations, private area at main pool, and supposably day access to sky bar lounge chairs and pool. The private reception/lounge was nice to grab coffee and a snack in morning without lines. All in all the staff at the resort definitely made the stay wonderful. Ramon who worked magic to get all my friends together for a birthday dinner at the Japanese restaurant Manuel who was amazing at pool service always checking in and taking care of our hydration needs at the pool. Zachel was so friendly and wonderful with our room. Her smile and laugh was infectious. To all the staff that worked hard to put on a wonderful superbowl party -thank you And to all who worked extra for the 2025 milestone bday group. You truly deserve a pat on back and high five- thank you

Marco and the staff
Marco was the most helpful and gracious employee on site. He assisted us with reservations, travel and anything we needed to know. You are lucky to have an employee as dedicated and happy to his job. We found all of the resort staff gracious and will to help out in any way they could.

Amazing service
Amazing customer service! The staff are super friendly and the drinks are great. Huge shoutout to Marco at the concierge he was super helpful! He helped us book our dinners with the difficult app and also made sure he kept us updated on our luggage that was lost. Great resort 10/10.
