  Will choose a different hotel in the future.

  There was no hot water in the shower. What is listed as a jacuzzi is cold and the pumps don't work. They are very stingy with their drinks... don't waste the money. Also not sure about the customer service training... very unaccomodating and dismissive staff particularly in the restaurant. And had the experience of walking into the women's restroom to an unexpected male cleaner who decided to continue cleaning instead of allowing us to feel comfortable and use the restroom.

  Staff could smile more….

  The hotel is pretty ok with nice pool and good restaurant. But some of the staff members simply are not friendly towards paying customers? Inflexible and not even thanking you for a proper tip. Come on ‘4 star’ hotel, make me feel welcome!!! train your staff. The lady’s from household however are very friendly,

  Not as good as expected but not the worst.

  Long but detailed. I really wanted to like this place but it had a lot of issues. Here is the bad and the good. Bad: We got to the hotel early from a tour. Got here about 1130. We figured that was ok because we would check out the spa or casino or see if they could check us in early. Nope. No early check in. AND we are not allowed to walk around and explore the hotel until 3pm even though we already paid and they are holding our luggage. We are only allowed to go to the restaurant and the lobby...for 3+ hrs. Need appointment for spa but can't reach them by phone, not allowed to walk there in person. And we don't even know what they offer because there is no service menu. So we go to the restaurant. The only restaurant apparently even though it says there are 2 (the grill). The menu is limited, but it is very good food. Service is very slow though. The casino that it advertises may be owned by them but it is not on the property. You have to have security escort you to the back of the property then through a fence that is locked and onto their parking lot. When you are done they SAY that the casino will call security and unlock the gate to bring us back... but they do not show, or it will take 30 mins. So the only other option is to walk on the edge of traffic to the drainage ditch and walk along the highway to the front of the hotel. As others said the hotel tub is not hot, but it is clean. Good: the food was really good. the pool area was clean. The orchids in the trees were gorgeous. The rooms were clean. The airport shuttle was fast and free.

  NO WAY this place rates 4 stars...

  There is absolutely NO WAY this hotel should be rated 4-stars. It is only a bare-bones room. No coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, or even a clock. Just two beds, a concrete cube for a night stand, a table and a chair at the table. Mirror was propped up against a wall instead of being attached. (I can imagine a kid knocking this over, sending glass fragments everywhere.) Asked for a water kettle just for instant coffee we'd brought. Was told we MUST use the hotel restaurant for coffee. Really? What hotel does that? Even budget hotels have these items. All we got was an ice bucket and two bottles of water. Made tepid instant coffee using hot tap water, and cups we had to buy at a nearby grocery store. Hair dryer smoked & died two minutes after it was turned on and was never replaced when we told the front desk about it. WiFi buffered a lot on our Fire Stick. Two banking web pages took two minutes to load on my laptop. During our stay, we were sent photos from an ongoing project by a contractor in the US but the connection was so slow we couldn't download them. The "hot tub" water was cold and cloudy. My wife refused to get in it. The pool is nice and the two different hamburger versions at the hotel restaurant were first rate but not enough to make me ever book this place again.

  Shuttle Bus from Airport doesn't come often

  One of the reasons we chose this hotel is because it supposedly has an airport shuttle every half hour. We waited almost 1-1/2 hours for the shuttle in very hot and humid weather at 11pm at night. Wasn't a comfortable feeling. The air conditioning didn't work in the room when we got there and had to have someone come to get it working. It's only on when you have your key card in the slot by the door so the room is not cool when you arrive. It's very hot and humid even after 11pm at night in this city so a nice cool room would have been appreciated. There are no washcloths in the bathroom, fortunately I brought my own. It was clean and neat. The breakfast starts at 6:30 and was good. They told us when the shuttle would depart the hotel in the morning and it was on time.
