Feb 20, 2025Unfortunately ‘this hotel does not enforce its own ‘Dress code’ at dinner
Chosen for its adult only concept, star rating and open dining times it was annoying to find ourselves sitting amongst other guests who were dressed in beach wear shirts & shorts, casual shorts, collarless casual tee shirts, open toe sandals and even flip flops even though there is clear picture signage at the restaurant entrance. A restaurant host or hostess stationed at the entrance could politely point out the dress code and offer to hold them a table whilst they redress the offending items

We have gone to this hotel for 23 years numerous times and now go 4 times per year. We are always made welcome by the wonderful staff.

Superb Holiday
We loved staying here. Hotel is beautiful, staff great, food great - probably a bit too great! I don't understand negative remarks about the food at all. Never heard such nonsense! The cleaners always did a great job in our room, and always seemed happy. So did the rest of the staff. Our favourite place was the hotels own beach and swimming pool with beach bar. Absolutely beautiful! There were some steps down which may be a problem for those with mobility issues. The Spanish restaurant made a lovely change. Very enjoyable. The only few slight negatives would be that the swimming pool could have been a couple of degrees warmer. The bathroom towels could do with replacing and the bath towels could be larger. Also the sun loungers were a bit annoying as they couldn't go flat. The great thing is that there were always plenty of loungers. No fighting! We would definitely return here.

Perfect Hotel.
Enjoyed the food, the entertainment every night was brilliant. Hotel staff, including reception were great. Loved the view from our room & the location of Hotel. Never stayed in Tenerife before but we plan to be back at Arecas next year.
