Nice beach, but hotel not 5star
Wouldn’t rate 5star, nice touch about the TUI Exclusive area, staff lovely, room standard a bit dated now? wouldn’t have set foot in the pool there was scum swirling round the corners, absolutely disgusting, also the bins on the path near the beach smell of vomit, they seriously need to be sorted and cleaned properly, not really good enough for a 5star resort, beach area is amazing, and was the best bit for us.

Overall very good
Reception looked really nice and the reception team were very good and welcoming. The bell boy (if that's what you call them these days) took our luggage and showed us to our room. The room was not what my Girlfriend apparently requested. She asked for a ground floor room. I took this up with the reception team and they sorted it the next day. Trying to find your room isn't the easiest thing to do as it is a bit of a maze. There are signs posted but it is very easy to get lost as the place is huge. The room we had was alright at best. The air conditioning we couldn't get below less than 22 degrees Celsius. Which was strange. The extractor fan was noisy. Most of the sockets were not working and were not fixed even though we asked to have them fixed. The mini bar was not restocked every two days either. Some of the paint from the bathroom ceiling was coming off. The maids did a good job of cleaning and tidying the room. The gardeners also worked hard keeping the garden areas tidy. There are several restaurants there but I didn't try them all. The colonial buffet restaurant was very good for the most part. Plenty of range of food and drink. Mamajuana restaurant which I used for lunch was very good as well. For dinner we used the steakhouse which was awesome. Delicious steaks. Tip for people going there in the future, line up from around 17.15 as the line gets very big, very quick. The servers at the bars and restaurants work very hard and do a great job. The entertainment staff were really good as well. They have four parties on every week. Pink party, white party, neon party and jungle party. I checked out the white party and it was very good. So if you love your dancing you will enjoy that. They also have daytime activities as well if you're interested in that. There are also shops available, a pharmacy, and mainly novelty shops. Not cheap mind.. The Gym was basic at best. Not much equipment and quite run down The one problem is the upkeep of the hotel. There are telltale signs that it needs some work. For example the sockets were not working in my room, some of the pool tiles had come off, the pool bar tile had dropped off. It does need some work and that's all it needs.

Beautiful!
All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. My friends and I were here for spring break and having the RIU party and club walking distance was great! It was super fun. Only downside was the food, it wasn’t terrible but not that good. Also for the restaurants since they don’t take reservations we had to show up before they opened to wait in a long line and try to get a table which most nights we were denied even after waiting while other parties were getting a buzzer. They definitely should do reservation only for the restaurants.

Beautiful and surprisingly clean
We came with family and friends. We had three separate rooms and they got all of our rooms on the same level plenty of staff to make drinks or wait on you for food. We never had a dirty plate sitting in front of us for longer than 30 seconds the amount of staff that was at this resort was amazing. We never waited or wanted for anything Overall the resort is beautiful. The rooms are a little outdated and the plugs didn’t work great but that’s the only complaint we had otherwise very family friendly plenty of space never waited in lines. We will definitely come back.

Honest Review: Average Resort with Poor Customer Service
I visited this resort with low expectations due to the reviews, and overall, I’d say it was just average. The property itself was nice, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. One major issue was the lack of attentiveness when requesting basic amenities. Every time I asked for water in the room, I had to ask multiple times or go to the front desk myself because they simply wouldn’t accommodate the request. Additionally, a frustrating incident occurred when my friend lost his phone at the Riu party. The front desk staff directed us to another hotel to retrieve it, but when my friend arrived, it turned into a huge ordeal just to get his own phone back. When I asked for assistance from the same staff member who initially sent us there, he was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. The manager was equally dismissive—he didn’t listen to my side of the story at all, instead only hearing the employee’s version of events. While the resort itself was decent, the poor customer service left a bad impression. If you value good service, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
