Anniversary Getaway

We celebrated our anniversary at Riu Caribe and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. The resort is beautiful—breathtaking beach views, spotless rooms, and amazing food every day. They went the extra mile to make our stay special, even surprising us with a romantic dinner. The atmosphere was fun yet relaxing, and everything was just spot on. It was the perfect mix of luxury and comfort.

Riu Caribe

A lively hotel with exceptional staff and a very high level of cleanliness. A wide selection of quality food at all mealtimes in the Coral Restaurant. The evening entertainment in the Calypso Bar was a bit disappointing but overall we had a fantastic holiday and one to remember for all the right reasons.

Racist

This hotel is the lowest class of hotels. Do yourself a favor and do not book this. They dragged my boyfriend out by the scruff because his shirt wasn’t up to par with their dress code a Celtics shirt. When we went to complain to front desk that we got kicked out on the first night they were not really helpful and said we could walk ourselves to the police station. The manager was no help and to us. I mentioned that this would not have happened in such an aggressive manner if he was a white dude. They had no answer but to tell us to “calm down”.

Spring Break Policies -

1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Cancun & Riu Caribe.

2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.

3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:

a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments

b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.

c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID

d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.

4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.

5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.
