This resort is great for families with kids. My girls (4 and 6) had a great time in the pool and at the water park. The beach is so beautiful with soft soft sand. The only thing I would say is that the toilet paper is perfumed so if you're sensitive to perfumed toilet paper... I would bring my own.

Property and beach were breathtaking. Very relaxing. Restaurants were first come, first served but at 7:20 (twice) we were told they were full for the night and to try tomorrow. We were a party of two and the only restaurant who seemed willing to split a double table for 4 into 2 tables for 2. We watched an empty table for 6 sit empty for more than 40 minutes in the Asian restaurant- which was a buffet!! At lunch one day (at Italian restaurant) 40 min before they closed, we were told “no more tables” even though there were many open. Luckily our favorite waiter motioned us to a table but he got chewed out by the lady who had sent us away. New Year’s Eve at the buffet didn’t want to seat a table for 2 and kept seating parties of 5-7 while making us stand at the door, after waiting our turn. I wish this would be addressed because everything else was great. We LOVED Sanchez and Oscar at the beach. They were amazing.

Great for family vacations
The entire family had a great time. There was something for everyone to do and the special parties and events were fantastic.

We travelled here for Christmas with a group of 30. Rooms were okay. We had to ask for it to be cleaned on occasion. Beds are very small - "queen" is a double and not even big enough for two adults. Two queen beds are pushed together in double occupancy. Food was not good at all. When we broke into smaller groups we never had an issue getting in except for the Steak restaurant. My family of 3 tried several times and was told is was full every time, however staff had no problem fitting 30 of us in on Christmas day for a fee. The buffet was the same for the whole 7 days we were there and many of us were happy to leave the resort on a day trip to eat some good food. The food was so salty that it wasn't edible at times. The pool bbq station was often out of food and only one staff member took care of it. The burger/hot dog toppings looked disgusting and the cheese for the nachos was super runny. Drinks were watered down and very sweet. The Sports bar was good for grabbing coffee in the AM but this is where the leftover hotdogs/sandwiches/burgers, etc. form the day before were dropped off and you could microwave them. Service was sub-par. The check-in desk staff were rude. The wristband policy is ridiculous...If you loose/break a band it will cost you $160US to replace it and if you don't then you can't be in the resort. Front desk staff stated that they can't have loose bands around the resort as staff sell them (not sure how this is customer's problem) Security around the swim up pools watch you like a hawk. Anyone underage can't even sit on the edge of the swim up bars. Staff at the lobby bar were great, very attentive and friendly. Beach was really nice. Good swimming and the beach staff were very good. Sanchez was amazing and made sure we were looked after very well. It wasn't hard to find seating. Overall, it was good to be with a good group of people and we had fun but I wouldn't be returning to this resort in the future.

Great family experience!
We took our family of 6 to enjoy a week in the sunshine and it didn’t disappoint! The food & drinks were good, the entertainment was enjoyable, and most of all the service & hospitality was incredible! Our kids (ages 9-17) really enjoyed themselves and would recommend this as a vacation destination!
