very pleased with the food,, New Y Eve night was excellent.. not enough elevators,,slow,,we had a wheelchair so couldnlt use the staris,, need someone to handle the ice cream dipping,, very unsanitary with everyohes hands in the freezer,, lady was dipping her ice cream and her lond hair was touchihng the ice cream,, needless to say i walked off,,waitors were very good,, wasnt impressed with the entertainment that we seen, over all, we had a nce relaxing time

The staff were very kind and friendly. I was worried there wouldn’t be any vegetarian options but there were a lot of choices, I was full at every meal. I had a great experience, I plan to go back!

GREAT STAY IN DECEMBER
It was clean and well kept. The food was excellent and there was alot of it. The beach was beautiful and everyone was very friendly.

i would never return to this resort ever. first the mariachi band plays on the public beach from 2 p.m. until sunset. the design of the resort somehow funnels this up to the rooms. impossible to have an afternoon siesta in your room as the music is too loud. all restaurants are buffet only, i thought there would be at least one restaurant where i could sit and a waiter would bring me a plate of freshly cooked food. i never was sure what i was eating, because signs for the food were few and far between. although the clientele is mainly foreign, few of the wait staff speak any english. one of the elevators by my room dropped me down a floor twice during my stay. and yes, i do know how i sound in this review, but i spent a lot of money and did not receive what i thought was value for my money.

Sutton family holiday
The real Emerald Bay is an excellent hotel very affordable very clean. Very nice. Staff is very good. Always made me feel welcome always when the extra mile to make sure my needs were met #TAXI and all other transportation are readily available. Bend over backwards Decatur to your needs.
