Beautiful location, beach, good resort
We were back to spend a week at RIU Jalisco in December. Beautiful, scenic location, great sunsets, wide beach with soft fine sand. We enjoyed the location and hotel. The food was good, we recommend the Italian and Steak restaurants for dinner.

Party at the Riu Jalisco
Booked the trip with a buddy of mine on sale. We met a lot of fun people we ended up spending the week with. The foam party and white party definitely stood out for us as people in our 20s. Great location on the beach as well! Buffet could’ve had a wider variety as well as not being able to reserve al a carte restaurants. No big complaints, would recommend!

Little piece of paradise
Beautiful Resort. Well layed out. Weather was amazing. Food was good, but repetitive.Staff were excellent, friendly and always smiling. No high pressure vendors. Very clean hotel. I would definitely come back again. Absolutely loved it!

Beautiful location but beware of food handling
The first three days of our vacation were pleasant- loved the beach and the staff were very friendly. However halfway through our trip, three members of our family of five became violently ill with severe gastrointestinal issues. Two of our family members did not leave our room for nearly 48 hours and continue to struggle with nausea after returning home. Needless to say this was a disappointing vacation. We have been to Mexico many times without experiencing any gastro issues and we only drank bottled water and did not eat off the resort. Afterwards I paid more attention and noticed a lot of unsafe food handling practices (ie hamburger stand attendant used tongs that have just been used to grab raw meat to put French fries on a guests plate. There was raw meat on their fries.)
