Excellent experience!
Overall our family and our relatives had an excellent experience. Very well done Riu Jalisco! Evening entertainment was excellent with good variety. The resort had variety with the different pools that were relaxing and a play structure for the kids. Food was excellent (except for the lasagna at the italian restaurant and in general at the resort the coffee wasn't always hot). Could use more variety of wine. Beach was nice with little markets nearby. Daily BBQs and entertainment was great!

Way better than expected.
I'm at Jelisco now, April 4th. No complaints really. I will add my honest review. My gift to my nephew, he's having a blast for his first-time trip ever. He's already planning his next one. Hotel is bit dated, but renos to start in August, basic room is not big but its fine to sleep in, yes, bathroom has a door, everything works, AC cant be turned up or down, stays on 22.5 all the time, fan works that keep the room at OK temp. Very clean grounds are beautiful property, clean pools . Food is way better than most 5 star resorts I've stayed at in Dominican or other parts of MX. I've been to many Rius in Mexico, Melias, Barcelo, Royalton etc..Jalisco is just as good as $4,000 a week one. White Party is wild, going on right now, entertainment all day, something for all ages every night if that's what you're into. Beautiful wide beach with palm trees, not Carrabean blue water or powder white sand but still nice, although, wish they had Palapas on the beach for shade and less vendors selling trinkets every 2 minutes, gets annoying after a while. Cleaning staff do a great job keeping the place spotless. All the staff from , reception, wait staff, bartenders, beach restaurant, bars, 2h hr sports bar, no complaints, great! I'm not a drinker but when I did get one, it was perfect and fast service, concidering, currently resort is packed! I'm actually finding Jalisco to have better customer service than my last visit at Riu Vallarta. I was ignored as a solo repeat guest all week., not at Jalisco though. Would I come back? Definitely.

Great hotel
Brought my kids here for spring break and we had an amazing time. Food was good, hotel was very clean, grounds were immaculately maintained. Service was excellent. Rooms could use an update- a door would be nice between bathroom area and sleep area. We’ll be back!

Awesome Vacation
Our family group included 3 generations. The Riu Jalisco has something for everyone. Great activities and entertainment (special thanks to Rogza) for every age group from kids and teens to adults. Awesome staff, great food, great pools, beautiful beach, and tons of fun. Entire family enjoyed. Will definitely be returning.

DANGEROUS SHOWERS!!!
First day there 2 of my sons fell in the shower. If this hotel was in the US it would have been sued left and right. I’m shocked to not see half the people there with bandages on their head. I wish I had seen some of the reviews about this issue, or I would not have come here and put my kids in danger
