We had a great time at the RIU Latino again this year(there in 2024 as well). The service was excellent in all the restaurants and the food was good. Your buffet really good as well - plenty of variety. Nelly in the buffet and all staff in every restaurant were more than helpful - too many names to put them all here. Daily entertainment around the pool was great. Julien and staff perfect. Night shows in the theatre were very entertaining. Alex (General Mgr) and the front desk staff (Ulises and all reception) were always very pleasant and most helpful. Alex, you should be very proud of them all. Special thanks to you, Alex for all your help on our delayed flight. It is very much appreciated. no complaints with the hotel from us. Victor and Marilyn (Canada) Feb. 2025

Pleasant Stay
All was good - hotel, staff, food, facilities - however, my only comment would be to provide the Fitness Instructor with a microphone headset so that they can be heard because (1) exercise area is next to the "activities" pool with loud music and (2) unable to hear when doing pool exercises - too many people and music too loud.

Great Time Once Again
This was our 6th trip to the Riu Latino, as with the first 5 trips we had an incredible time. We were there for 11 days on this trip and at the end of the trip I wished I had booked for another week. The reason why my wife and I love this place is because of the people who work here. From the time we checked in at the front desk, to the restaurants, to the housekeepers, the bartenders and finally the Entertainment team they are always doing everything they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. If you happen to be there when the Entertainment team is doing their show on the main stage (normally on a Tuesday night) I would highly recommend to go and see it. We have seen it now 4 or 5 times and even though we know what is coming next in the show we both laugh our butt throughout the whole show. They really do a fantastic job with the show. And they are doing this after a long day where they are doing everything they can to make your daytime fun. Everyone there really treats you like family whether it is the buffet or any of the specialty restaurants. But to just pick out a few in the buffet restaurant Brian, Nelly and Teresita are absoloutely fantastic and feel like family.We will be making our 7th trip back to our second home in late October and we can't wait to see all of these people once again. If you are looking for a resort where the people are fantastic I would highly recommend Riu Latino

The overall experience was a very nice relaxing place however it is far out, so there isn’t any real public transportation. The taxi is probably about four or 5 miles away, but be prepared because it is costly overall I think it was a great experience. There was definitely enough food and drink for everyone

Wonderful Vacation
Riu Latino was beyond our expectations. This beautiful hotel was clean. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Food was good and fresh although a little bland tasting. This is probably to accommodate all tastes. The beach is lovely. Soft white sand and the staff at the beach ensure that you get a lounge chair and an umbrella. The one negative is that the sidewalk ends well before the beach and you have to walk through the loose sand for about 500 yards together to the beach. It was okay for me but it would be impossible for anyone with any mobility issues. Also be aware that there is construction on one side of the building. Our first room was facing this. So when I was on the balcony I had to listen to the noise during the day. We were moved to a room across the hall because we had requested 2 double beds and the first room had a king size bed. The second room was lovely. It faced the courtyard but we could also see the ocean from the balcony. Overall a great place. I would go there again.
