    Beautiful

Staff the friendliest, grounds and pool exceptionally clean, found a different room for us the next day as we requested a better view, our bathroom lights did not work and we put a work order in every day and they were never fixed, housekeeping never left 2 hand towels and two days they took both hand towels and never replaced, mixed drinks could taste better but the bar staff was wonderful, never a wait for anything even during Christmas week, fully staffed everywhere, bell hops helped with cabs, pool needs a hot tub, pool staff always there to get you drinks, buffet food and specialty restaurants were not the best. Housekeeping staff very loud outside our doors every morning at 8am and woke our kids up- very annoying.

Elite club is a scam and ripoff of 2,0000

Paid 2,000 extra for elite club, exclusive pool area populated over half with regular people, drinks are no different, reservations to restaurants are a joke. What a waste of money! Mentioned this to staff they commented have recieved this complaint before...?

    Disappointed

Mixed feelings. The entertainment is great, our room attendant did a good job, but the food was mediocre and the table clothes at the buffet restaurant were not fresh. Looks like they do not always change them between guests. That’s a turn off. We’ve stayed at different Riu hotels in different countries. We will not be back to this one. So sad.

Our stay at the RIU Palace Antillas

The outside areas (pool and beach) are beautiful and extremely clean. The inside areas are also beautiful and clean. The entertainment was very low quality and sparsely attended. The food was bountiful and had a good variety, but was simply okay in taste.

Don’t go, especially not in Aruba

Apparently sea view means parking lot view that you can see the ocean if you crane your head around the wall. Booked king bed, got two twins. How romantic. Did online check in but still had to wait in line and do it all again when we arrived. They need to get sound proof balcony doors. Noise from this resort, the one next door and random fireworks at all hours. No hot water in shower the first day. Called our room at night to check on our stay, waking us up. No waiters on the beach, have to walk to the pool bar constantly. WiFi was terrible and kept kicking us off. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO ARUBA. Flight home delayed 10 hours then finally cancelled. The airport closed for the night and literally kicked 100 people out on the street at 11pm with nowhere to go. Every hotel called said they were full or wouldn’t give you a room if you didn’t stay there during your trip. Had to taxi back to Riu where we were lucky to get a room for one night. Which they ripped us off and charged $600 to use a room for less than 6 hours. Have another Riu booked in March in Jamaica. Probably going to cancel if we can find a different resort.
