When an annual girls trip to Aruba before the holidays and couldn’t have had a better stay! The resort was wonderful. The staff was attentive. The activities were incredible. Four stars from me.

Good choice for anniversary trip to Aruba. Location on Palm Beach was very good. Drinks were plentiful and bar tenders very nice. Large pool area but we never sat there as we came to Aruba for the beautiful soft sand and warm water. Dry beach towels always available from a lovely cheerful lady. Be prepared to tip the beach staff to get a palapa early in the morning but we managed to fine a bit of shade to drag our chairs to without doing that. There were also often open palapa available after lunch that we could just sit under. Shade is necessary as the sun is hot. Wear sunscreen! There was a nice float to swim to. There is a small area of rocks off beach for snorkeling but water was too cloudy some days to see anything. Hotel provided snorkel gear and swim floats. Kayaks available but you can only paddle around the roped swim area- a little disappointing. Buffet plentiful. Food was good and good variety. The specialty restaurants had some different options but you had to stand on a line around 5:30 to get on the restaurant list for seating. Not a good system. Our room was modern and very clean. Comfortable bed except it was 2 twin beds pushed together and made up as 2 beds. Desk offered to move us to a king bed next day but it seemed more of a hassle as we had to check out in the morning and then wait until after 3 for new room and they did not offer to do the moving for us. Housekeeping staff are great and very nice. Our ocean view was there as long as I leaned over the railing and turned my head all the way to the left! Should not have had to pay extra for that! Also our room was on the 6th floor and faced the open lounge and the stage from the Family hotel adjacent to the. We enjoyed the various musical performances especially a singer named Jersey, BUT most DJs were SO loud we heard and saw them from our room. The bed shook and a private party went until 1:30 am. Hard to sleep with that. Bring earplugs if you go to bed early. Sunset cruise and snorkel cruise add ones were very fun. Scooters and bikes to rent are right outside the hotel and were great to zip to town or up to lighthouse on the paths. Also paths good for walking or running. Definitely would return to Aruba as the beach is amazing and there is more to explore in the Island. Maybe return to Riu if I could get a quieter room. Perhaps we need a quieter resort.

Rui Antillas worth the stay
Outside of some poor maid service the vacation was excellent. The beach, pool, drinks, entertainment and food were very good. We would go back.

UNREAL HONEYMOON
From the second we booked this honeymoon to the second we left the resort, everything was absolutely perfect thanks to KEVIN!!! He truly went above and beyond in making the most perfect experience for us. He knew exactly what we were looking for from the room requests to everything in between. He ensured us that we’d have the exact type of room we paid for and he was right. He made sure every day that every request or desire we had was fulfilled. He made us feel like we were at our home away from home. This was our second time at this resort and we will not stay anywhere else, just because of this experience he gave us. Thank you, KEVIN!! You made our dream honeymoon come true.
