Great week in Jamaica

My wife and I very much enjoyed our five days at the RIU Palace Aquarelle in March 2025. The resort was clean and in great shape (it's also very new). Though it has lots of rooms, it didn't feel crowded. The beach is beautiful. We enjoyed the water, but there are some big rock not too far off shore you need to be aware of. The pools were also great. We spent time in the two bar pools (where kids aren't allowed) but it never seemed to crowded in either. Speaking of kids, there were plenty, but mostly separated from those adults. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the local cuisine on the buffet and found the specialty Steak House and Italian restaurant to be outstanding. The reservations system for the specialty restaurants was not efficient and a little frustrating. The bar service was excellent. The staff was friendly and always helpful. My only criticisms are that the elevators are too small and too few and there aren't enough restrooms in public areas. Otherwise it was a great experience.

I came to celebrate what was my deceased son’s 30th birthday! Some of his friends came later. This was my best trip ever to Jamaica!

Spring break!

Spring break was great! This property is new. The grounds are great! Entertainment is wonderful! A Dj near the pool is daily. The steakhouse is very good! The service is great and our beds were comfy. We will return!

The Greatest Experience Thus Far

Jodi (welcome station) Malik (house keeping main floor) Chantol, and Lisa(sports bar) all made my 5 days staying at this resort amazing. The entertainment staff, bartenders and dinning staff was top tier. We have been to numerous resorts and I do not visit one resort twice but this resort will be seeing us again. Managers and all staff including landscapers were great. Suggestions: would love more authentic Jamaican cuisine (ex: more porridge options, more Jamaican pastry (pudding, toto, Jamaican black cake) more soup options (chicken foot soup, beef soup etc) Thank you for an amazing time
