First Timer
A LOT of kids even around the adult only pools. Pools seemed to be really dirty, no one cleans them at night meaning they are full of sand (which I get from being next to the ocean), but also find yourself stepping on shot glasses that have fallen in the pool. Room temperature would not go below 68 and seemed to be very humid in the room. Housekeeping would come in when you're not there even after they cleaned your room for the day and straighten things up again.

Why having to travel for entertainment. Not happy about Riu Parties.
Love Riu’s but don’t like having to go to another resort for entertainment. Would of been a half hour ride there and than back for the Riu Party. They did have one next door, we went to that one and had so many kids and people with strollers. The line for drinks was 3 to 4 people deep. Liked the shows at the resort but they need to find a better Michael Jackson performer. The resort use to be more towards adults seems to be more family friendly. That’s okay will do Adults only next time. If you pay to stay at a resort you should have entertainment there! Missed having games of pool volleyball. Not into water polo. Was great in the swim-up bar pool. Drink service was great in and around pool! Food was good!

Best Family Friendly Resort
I wasn’t sure what to expect at the Hotel Riu Palace Costa Mujeres, but this resort exceeded all expectations! Three generations of my family loved every aspect of this beautiful hotel. We stayed in a Suite and a Junior Suite, both with magnificent ocean views. The food options were plentiful, and everyone enjoyed every meal each day. The entertainment and activities were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about this resort—clean, friendly, and an incredible value!

Worst company ever
They are liars. Customer service is terrible. I needed to cancel my stay, they gave me the workaround, never called back, never emailed, spent hours on the phone to no avail. Do not trust them. They are terrible and will leave you hanging. There are much better options.
