Great winter getaway
This was a couples trip. Had a wonderful time. The food and staff were top notch. I would go back today if I could swing it! The beach is a little small/cramped when the resort is full but this really was not a problem.

Top Notch Resort - January 13-20, 2025
Visited from January 13-20, 2025 and could not have enjoyed my stay more. To say that the service our party received at the buffet and the a la carte restaurants was excellent every time would be an understatement. There were a few staff members that I felt went above and beyond to be friendly and make our trip more enjoyable and I wish I could remember all of their names so they could get the credit they deserve, but they were moving so fast and working so hard it was difficult to read their name tags! FOOD - The food at the buffet was very tasty despite being the typical resort offerings and it never disappointed. Our group managed to try all of the a la carte restaurants except the Japanese restaurant (which didn't really interest us) and we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The surf & turf option (5oz filet & jumbo shrimp) at the Black and White restaurant was cooked perfectly and very good as was the lobster. The Mexican restaurant was also very good despite almost overdosing on excessive amounts of Mexican food throughout the week. BEACH - The oceanfront at this resort is idyllic and the water is the most amazing shade of blue green. The sand is incredibly soft and it feels like you're walking through flour. There were five of us in our group and we never had to fight for chairs together on the beach. The only downside is that the sun goes behind the hotel around 4:30 pm each day so you need to head up to the pool with the swim up bar to enjoy the last 1:30 of direct sun before it's fully blocked by the hotel. POOL- The pools were very nice and never felt crowded even when there were tons of people in it. The entertainment staff try to keep the energy up in the pool area with the swim up bar and every one there seemed to be having a blast and you never had to wait long to get a drink. ROOM - I had a junior suite ocean front room (everyone in our group had our own rooms) with two double beds pushed together (I assume to make a king size) so I only really used the one side. The mattresses were comfortable (but not the greatest in my opinion) and the bed only had a sheet on it so I assume you'd have to ask for a blanket if you wanted one. Overall the room was very large and very nice despite being a bit older and outdated, but I had no real complaints as the AC worked very well, the minibar area was always fully stocked, and the room was very clean. Overall I would recommend this resort in a heartbeat to anyone.

Excellent stay
Can’t fault this hotel at all. The staff can’t do enough for you and it’s done with a smile. Nothing is a problem for them and I think this is the key to the hotels success. The food in the buffet was varied and always fresh and the restaurants were of a high standard. Stayed 11 day wish I’d stayed longer.

It's Great, Enjoy It.
The hotel is very beautiful, yes it needs some TLC, but surely you can look past little issues as you are on holiday and not there to remark on any tiny scratch or smell. Anything major, I would be the first to complain. I'm not going into great detail, so here goes. THE STAFF. All of them are very polite and friendly as expected. Thank you to all of you. THE ROOM. (Junior suite 119) Spacious with 2 comfortable double beds, a sofa bed used as a sofa by us. Big bathroom with double sinks. The shower is fantastic. Hairdryer is unexpectedly powerful, and towels changed every day. Fridge is restocked every day with water, beer, tonic, and soda water. Optics are restocked when necessary. And YES, there is an iron and ironing board. Safe is free. Just put in a pin number and press # to lock. RESTAURANTS. All are good enough, that's what I would say, they know how to cook nice beef, I'll say that. COFFEE BAR. Is very good and serves nice cake. MAIN BAR. It is OK, it's like an English Weatherspoons decor wise. Respect to the guy who plays piano through all the chatter, I asked him for a Beatles song, and he played a Beatles medley every time I walked in. POOL BARS. As you would expect, very lively and loud. BEACH SERVICE. These guys work hard, tray of 20 drinks up in the air walking on sand must be hard to do. William and Boa were my main men for where I sat on the beach. Thanks, guys. BEACH. The most amazing soft white sand, it's like flour. Keep an eye out for my mates, Pelè and Baroni, the Pelicans. SEA. Beautiful as you would expect. TOWELS. No need in my opinion to take your own, you are issued with a towel card each to exchange each day or when wet for beach towels. TIPPING. As an Englishman, it's not something we do at home and there is no pressure to here, but I did tip every couple of drinks brought to me by the waiters. 50 Pesos note is around £2 at my exchange rate. Thanks again to all the staff, especially the ones who you don't see, a puzzle needs all it's peices.

Wonderful vacation spot!
Love this hotel. Small enough that you do not have to walk a long way to go eat or to the bar. The food is good, especially the Italian restaurant. Lots of activities at the pool and enjoy the piano bar in the evening. Only suggestion would be softer beds. Fun time!
