28 Days in Paradise
I arrived in mid December and left mid January 2025. The staff from the doorman to the ladies that cleaned my room where professional and accommodating. Being a long term client I was hoping to have views of the Bay of Banderas, a conversation with the front desk and I was relocated to the 8th floor overlooking the bay to Bucerias. The management team, from food to recreation where always available to chat about my stay. I ate at all the restaurants and was always impressed at the chefs creativity. Entertainment every day, the shows had me tapping my feet more than once, loved those songs I knew sung in Spanish. So would I suggest the Riu Palace Pacifico to my friends and family, absolutely, the spreads for Christmas and New Years were outstanding.

Great property and friendly staff.
We spent seven nights at this property and it’s absolutely gorgeous. We did the VIP mostly because we wanted the great views which were oceanfront. Love the big Terrace and the big room with a living room and a semi separate sleeping area. It was the first time I could take my kids who were both 18 and 20 and so we got two rooms. I love this property. It is absolutely beautiful and meticulous.. The staff is very friendly and you’re always greeted with a smile. It’s pretty reasonable to get into the restaurants but with VIP, you get to make reservations. The food is pretty good. It’s not a huge buffet, but definitely enough choices that you never go hungry. The entertainment is pretty good some nights better than others, but it’s nice to have an option to get out of your room. It’s a very nice short walk on a beautiful path to Bucerias. It’s about a 20 minute walk to a very large, nice and clean grocery store. If you wanna go on a Puerto Vallarta, it’s about a 30 minute cab ride for about 20 bucks . Can’t recommend this place enough! It’s also nice that you have access to the other two RIU properties which are within walking distance.

Another Great Stay at RIU Palace Pacifico
We love this resort. Since the full renovation it is even more lovely. We love the people, the cleanliness of the entire resort, the rooms, the view, the beach, the Hobie Wave on the beach, the long walks toward Bucerias, the sparkling clean pools, the American Sports Bar, the decks and every restaurant. What a lovely week.

Fabulous Resort
Just back from a 2 week stay at the Pacifico (our second). This resort is amazing. If you're looking for relaxation, this is it. Adult-only, not much night-life, but relaxing. The night-time shows could use improvement so the second week we skipped most of them except for the Mariachi band, which is so good. We ate at the buffet most nights but also ate at Krystal twice (favourite), Guacamole and La Toscana. We skipped the Steakhouse this year as we weren't impressed with it and the wait last year. You can get meat that is just as good, or better, most nights on the buffet. There are some staff members that just make your stay better. For us, that was Luigi at Borelo, Jorge at the Sports Bar and Jose on the beach. All amazing guys that go over and above for you. If I had any complaints, one is that they should have light music playing in the evenings. Bars like Borelo and the Lobby bar could use a little ambiance when nothing is going on. The second is the smoking. So many smokers on the beach and also on balconies. Yes, there are smoking areas but many people just light up where they are and it's disgusting to us that don't. There is no enforcement of the rules in the two areas I mentioned. Overall, a great resort experience.
