Thought this would be the perfect place to celebrate 30yr Anniversary- 40yr Retirement- and Father’s Day-wrong! Problems started from the time we landed at the airport (no hotel transfers as promised) Room was not ready for hours (had to change clothes in bathroom because room was not ready). Asked for water, was told to walk across street to purchase! Entire front desk staff was very rude and need to be fired. Period. Room reeked of chemicals & dripping condensation from air vents (In my hair & luggage) elevators did not work! Could not get into restaurants because they were always booked (however didn’t appear that way) food was disgusting with plastic wrapping cooked in with it. Horrible dining room service as well. Not enough help with pool bar. Entertainment was a joke. Everything about the place was disappointing-trip was completely ruined! Will NEVER return! Go elsewhere this hotel is a joke!

9 women on a "girls" trip. The resort is small compared to others I've visited, but it was beautiful and we had everything we needed to have a relaxing, carefree vacation. The food was excellent. It was difficult getting into the restaurants, but when we did it was worth it. Buffets were excellent as an alternative. I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly, helpful and very attentive. I would recommend!

Loved Bahamas
Excellent service, room was nice & clean, hotel staff was so friendly and welcoming! Our maid did the most amazing blanket animals, looked forward every night to them! Only problem was the floor was sticky, not sure what they mopped with, but just wore my sandles! Enjoyed the bar and staff there. So friendly, the US should take lessons from your staff!

The hotel had roaches. I found some in my room and my friends had them in their rooms (different floors) as well. The photos I included are stills from videos I took in my room. The workers know because none of them seem surprised when we mentioned it or when one of the other guest killed one on stage DURING her groups karaoke performance. Disappointed in Riu
