Jan 27, 2025RIU made my friends and I one of the best stays ever!
My friends had never been here before, so when I told them how great it was, they were in. We had a great flight with Delta, got there and meet the transfer service, Traffic tours and off we went. Got to the resort and when getting out of the van, instantly Alex was there with a big hug and welcome back Douglas,and friends. Took us to the front desk, where Tina came around to give me a welcome hug and my friends a big hello. We got our rooms that were awesome high up in the middle of the resort. We unpacked a little and went to the Steak restaurant got two lobster tails. Next to the main bar Rodolfo the mgr. of the bars gave me a great hug as well as my friends. Made us feel right at home and did for the rest of our time here. The service at this hotel is the best u need something they would get it. Restaurants awesome Japan, my friends fav. mine, all of them. Steak, Mex. Spec. The shows great the pool parties over the top. Jungle,White,Pink, Neon, next door. The pools were always clean swimup bar great. The thing I like the best is how great they treat you. Thanks to the great staff at this resort I would tell everyone to forget the bad reviews they must except way to much. this resort is a great value. I will be back again next year. Thanks Sofie,Tina,Chisel,Laura,Maurino,Freddy,Pedro. I can't mention them all my fingers would fall off. For the money this is a great place to come. Thank You Doug (UT)

Jan 27, 2025Our Stay at the RIU.
We had a good stay at the RIU. The staff at the restaurants were very good, and the daily buffet was excellent. Entertainment at night was fun. My only real complaint is that the sheets and towels in the rooms often show up with stains, they're not being cleaned well enough. One of our pillow cases had a foot print on it. So two problems there, first, who folded it up for distribution, and second why would the room cleaner install it when it's clearly obvious. This comes down to a, "Not my job" attitude.

Fun & Sun in RIU Palace Peninsula!
Far away from the cold of Chicago. the food was delicious and the pools inviting. We enjoyed the adult beverages, but we also longed for Irish Whiskey. The service was excellent. We enjoyed not only walking along the beach but also along the paths leading out from the hotel. There were always plenty of chairs out by the pools. Everywhere was clean!

Beautiful Time was had
My husband and I had a great time at the RIU! We were greeted at the front door by Alan, the hotel's concierge and the hotel staff promptly bought us a welcome drink while we waited to check in. We arrived early so our room wasn't ready, but we were able get our bracelets and use all the hotel's amenities. The pools were nice and the hotel grounds were clean. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. The balcony with the ocean view was phenomenal! The layout of the room was a little weird. I didn't like the toilet being far from the sinks and I didnt like the huge tub in the room.

5 Star Service & Food
It was incredible experience! The service is top notch. The entertainment team works very hard to make sure there are enough activities in the property and everyone is invited. The buffet restaurant staff is just lovely, always pleasant and welcoming and happy to see you. The food is incredible, the buffet changes everyday with a wide variety of different dishes. Would highly recommend!
