This was the fourth time we have stayed at the hotel. It continues to provide a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The staff always appear happy to be working there. Particular 'shout outs' must go to Nayi, Juang and Barbara (our room cleaner) who made the holiday even more special. Whilst there is plenty of choices at breakfast and dinner I would like to see more 'hot' vegan options in the evening. You also have the added bonus of evening entertainment. We will be considering to return later this year.

Once again a very enjoyable stay.
Out third visit to Riu Palace Tenerife. Room was excellent with enjoyable views.We love the location and the staff and facilities are excellent. Food in the main restaurant was very good, lots of choice but perhaps not quite as good as our last stay with you. Dinner in the Spanish restaurant was very good .We only had one disappointment and that was dinner in Krystal. Menu/dishes need re- visiting, The shellfish bisque was excellent, The goats cheese and crispy duck awful, the two ingredients did not work together and portion far too large and description misleading as crispy duck. My steak ordered medium rare was blue and not hot enough, sauce and vegetables too salty and unfortunately I had to send it back to be cooked more. The sweets were also awful, poor presentation and flavours that did not harmonise together. For the first time ever we left the majority of the sweets as not enjoyable to eat. We have dined in Krystal on our previous visits and never had a problem. Staff around the hotel as always are excellent in all departments and a credit to the management.

Very enjoyable stay
Our first visit to this Riu hotel and it didn’t disappoint. We upgraded to a suite which was on the 9th floor overlooking the paseo and bay, beautiful views. It had a big balcony with sun loungers and table and chairs. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent with a great choice at buffet breakfast and dinner. It was nice to go to the Spanish restaurant by the pool one evening to enjoy being served. Plenty of sun loungers by the pool even though people still ‘reserved’ them. The gym and spa were very good. Entertainment was provided each evening, some being better than others. All in all very happy with our stay.

Excellent
I think this was our 7th visit to this hotel so they are obviously getting things right. We usually go in July so this trip was a little different as it was to cold to sit outside in the evenings. This led to the only gripe we have - the entertainment was indoors & it was sometimes difficult to get a seat, either in the bar or the entertainment room itself. The tables are set up for groups of 4 but most guests were couples which resulted in empty chairs. (Bring some extra tables in & set them up for 2) Everything else was great, food, drinks, service & rooms. I did ask for a topper to be put on the bed as I found the mattress to firm which was done straight away - no problem. There are plently of sun beds & pool towels - none of this €10 deposit & €1 per day to change. Kettle, Tea & Coffee provided in room is free but there is a charge for the safe. Great location with some nice beach bars nearby. Look forward to another visit next year.

ANOTHER FABULOUS VISIT
Sadly leaving today after another fabulous week at this beautiful hotel. It never fails to disappoint. The staff are all amazing. Too many to mention by name but I think a special mention should be made to all the cleaners and room staff who keep the hotel in its pristine condition. You are an absolute credit to the hotel. Yet again the food and choice of food was fabulous and no matter what time you entered for either breakfast or dinner, the buffets were always replenished so again a credit to the kitchen staff. All in all it’s been another fabulous week and we will return again . If you’ve not yet been then you really must! Otherwise you won’t know what you’re missing.
