Great stopover before cruise

We stayed one night at the property prior to a cruise and it checked all of the boxes for what we needed. The pool was more than adequate for the kids and the easy beach and boardwalk access were both things that we appreciated. Our room was comfortable and clean. The beds are on the small side - full size rather than queen, but worked for us. The breakfast buffet was top notch and the standard checkout time of noon was a nice surprise since we had an afternoon boarding time for the cruise. Another nice bonus we figured out is the free trolley stops right in front of the hotel, making it easy to get to south beach area. Try Bella Cuba for a nice casual place with Cuban food.

Just Brilliant!

My 3rd visit (2023-2025) to this lovely Hotel.I come same time each year for the Miami music week to meet up with customers (dj`s ,record labels etc).I`m not into the party aspect,I leave that to the youngsters .Spring Breakers are not allowed at this hotel which means its very chilled and relaxing .The rooms are clean and modern,staff wonderful and the food is good.Miami is expensive but I find this hotel good value and would highly recommend for couples/families and solo travellers.I`m looking forward to booking my visit for next year !

It was a great pleasure to stay at Hotel Riu Plaza Miami Beach. We have stayed at this hotel chain before and really liked it. So we knew what to expect this time.

Pre cruise stay

After reading the reviews we were unsure because recent reviews have been a little negative. We travel often and for the location and price this is a great value. We were on a high floor with an ocean front room and the view was amazing. The staff were all very welcoming and kind. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Clean modern hotel on the beach with an excellent breakfast. Good pool bar with reasonably priced drinks.
