Good staff in every department: reception, housekeeping, food and beverage. It's not new, so the property itself has some imperfections. Nothing egregious. Enjoyed being able to join in on beach volleyball and taking the Hobie Cat out for a sail. Gym equipment was dated, but functional. Preferred the entertainment at the RUI I stayed at in Cabo, but that was an adults only property. Maybe that made the difference? Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

First time to Mexico!
Since this is my first time to Mexico and my first time to an all inclusive I have nothing to compare this resort to but this resort lived up to everything I expected. Very friendly staff and grounds were very well kept. The buffet for New Years Eve was out of this world!

We typically do adults only resorts, but we stayed here with family. The beach and water was absolutely stunning. My favorite part! The beach was very crowded since it's shared with so many resorts but we still found chairs everyday. I brought a pool floatie and would just float in the ocean. The water was perfect for it. Very clean with no seaweed. The grounds very well kept and beautiful. It was very cool seeing the monkeys, coati and aguti on the grounds. My second favorite parts. Towels were an issue. Sometimes had trouble getting them. No reservations needed at the restaurants but were sometimes denied even early in the evening. Food was just so so. The best meal we had was when we went to playa del carmen. Overall it was very good for the price.

Why go anywhere else.
I have been to Cancun area many times. I brought 2 friends who have never been. We enjoyed everything. Beach fantastic and your Riu team was always working hard to keep everyone part of the experience. Really great job by everyone.

Fabulous, friendly hotel……would recommend and return 👍🏻
Stayed here with my mum for 2 weeks, staff were very friendly, food was good and rooms and grounds of hotel were always clean. Beachfront location, food and drinks available 24/7…….as 2 women on holiday on their own (40 & 66) always felt very safe and not intimidated at all, we used the Riu tequila and playa hotels which were just as good, pool parties, beach parties and good restaurants at all 3 hotels. Night time entertainment wasn’t the best, but we made the most of our days in the sunshine 🏝️ We definitely recommend and would return to this hotel, Nery at the pool bar was an absolute bonus and really looked after us, definitely deserves a pay rise 😊 We got taxis into Playa del Carmen, takes about 5 minutes and worth a trip, felt safe and was worth a visit.
