The hotel although in need of a lick of paint here and there was very good, all restaurants were excellent except the oriental as the service was not as good as the rest. No worries over sun beds on the beach or by the pool. The staff make the hotel not just the entertainment but all the staff make an effort. Dinero, Genius, DJ unstoppable and Scion all made that extra special effort to make our experience all the more enjoyable. The drinks are also good and all named spirts, Red stripe beer or corona. Also try the Dirty Banana although it’s rich is a very nice long tasty cool drink. We went in the other two hotels at either side for the party nights and into the Reggie just to look around and have a drink. We were happy with our choice of the three.

Well needed vacation
The hotel had many options for us we stayed in the middle at the Palace. Rooms and dining area well maintained and clean. Many activities and safe transportation to get around Jamacia.

Royalty
Everything at Riu Palace was to my liking. The staff catered to my needs exceptionally. I was never lonely there and always entertained. That entertainment crew… they deserve a show on Broadway. The rooms are comfortable and give an aura of peace. Environment is Picturesque. The food did not leave my tastebuds wanting. The Riu Palace has offered me the best birthday I’ve ever had and the best hotel experience thus far.

I do a girls trip every year and have to say this resort was NOT what we expected! We paid extra money to upgrade from the Riu Montego Bay to the Palace and that was HUGE mistake! Our room was so gross! Dirty and extremely old! It had a horrible mildew smell! We called the front desk and tried to move hotels! Lewis at the front desk spent hours with us trying to help! He was very kind and understanding! Since we booked on Expedia there was nothing we could do! We will never again booked through Expedia either! The entertainment staff saved our trip! They were so fun! Especially Green Bean and Dinero! The Dj Mr Unstoppable was great keeping us dancing on the dance floor! The food was ok and the drinks of the day was bomb! Housekeeping woke us up everyday at 7am slamming doors and yelling down the hall! By day 4 I called to complain again! We did visit the other resorts they both seemed way more updated than the Palace! I do hope they update the rooms and the hotel!
