Dec 21, 2024Very Disappointing
The hotel grounds and pools were very well maintained, but unfortunately our room was appalling. The rooms have had a recent renovation, but unfortunately the quality of the furniture and fittings is very poor. Therefore, they have already started to show serious signs of wear and tear. See photos for general state of room. The pool area was very noisy and crowded, but we walked along the beach to the next door Riu hotel and used the adults only pool there, which was very nice. We did in fact use a lot of the neighbouring hotel facilities, including having our lunch there. We did ask if we could transfer to a swim up room there, but we were told this wasn’t permissible. We also walked to several of the other Riu hotels and spent most of our evenings in those hotels. The staff were for the most part very helpful and polite. I would not go back to this hotel and was so disappointed in the dreadful state of our room. I have been to many Riu hotels over the past 25 years and this was by far the worst room we have ever had.

I’ve been to this resort for the last ten years if it had been my first time I would have thought ok but the standards have dropped dramatically the cleaning in in room was brilliant the bar staff the same reception the worst that I have experienced with riu after 29 visits worldwide the food was average in the main eating area which was lovely they replaced with canteen standard table and chairs pool area has not been refurbished there are tiles missing in the main pool it’s a shame loved this hotel but sadly will not be returning

If your thinking of visiting and are reading not so favorable reviews...STOP, BOOK AND ENJOY!!! And stop by BAR Cubano and tell Danny I said Holá. Service was great, Room lovely and clean and Food was great!!!

Excellent
Well just came back from RIU palace Macao and all I would say is for me it had everything party friendly vibe chill out vibe the works staff were excellent restaurant were good I will say that some of the bottom floor suites had said about damp smell I never came across any 10/10 I would go by some of the reviews on here definitely worth the visit and I had met couples from all over the globe who keep going back that alone speaks volumes

I had talent the basic Jr suite room. The room was fine, éventuellement tough I had asked for two beds and only got one. The view from my balcony was terrible. On the 3rd floor with à view of the rooftops of the kitchen and other commun aléas with the added bonus of the smell of food l'ingérence as son as I opened the patio door. I dont' even unserstand why there are rooms with such ugly view and foul smells. I normaly loves to enjoy my balcony, but il was not possible with this room.
